As a niner fan, it was luck that they didn't see the closed fist and they knew that there was some heatedness throughout the game. But, he should have been ejected, I hope he doesn't pull anything like this again.

I'm not a Ravens fan at all, but that chant was completely warranted. No calls like that give fuel to the "scripted game" theory.

Ah so Pete Caroll finally threw his gum and we have video evidence of it.
That late hit penalty seemed a little weird. The ref was clearly letting the play continue and had moved like he expected the runner to break the tackle. Then the hit was in bounds and prior to the whistle. Seems silly.

In the second clip Greenlaw is making contact with Slayton AS the whistle is being blown, and they wanna call that a cheap shot? Is a defender supposed to just stop and start standing there the second a guy gets wrapped up and not help make the tackle? I'm not a Niners fan but that makes no sense to me.
The play can be over even before the whistle is blown. A bit like hitting the qb after sliding. Runner is stopped and completely wrapped for too long for that not to be called a late hit.
Yeahhh I could conceive of a world where the whistle wasn't blown, Greenlaw peeled off, and somehow the WR got loose and runs another 15+ yards leaving Greenlaw looking dumb. Seemed a little too close to call it a cheap shot but maybe context helps, I didn't see the game
@@xhappybunnyxthe whistle blew at the exact moment of contact, honestly don’t know why they flagged it. The hit seemed clean and more so was a tackle to make sure he was down.
Usually flags 100% favor the offense. Like what is he supposed to do in that situation just wait for the whistle to blow?
@@voss9842 receiver was twisting out of the tackle before greenlaw hit him. Contact was shoulder pad to side of the arm. I think the position of the ref and his late whistle made it look worse than it was.

The ball carrier was still on his feet and fighting, as well as inbounds and the whistle didn’t blow til greenlaw made contact. Great play and proper hit, since there was no whistle, whos to say the runner didn’t break free and take it to the house… if greenlaw doesn’t make that hit.

It wasn't a "bump" into someone. He clearly shoved the lineman into the QB, got pushed then he punched first before the other player retaliated. It was a freaking kneel down at half. No need to get aggressive in that moment to begin with. If one player should be ejected then so should the player who punched first
