Inspiration behind this video:
Furiosa's newest trailer revealed new and old faces along with its familiar deserted wastelands, but it also looks like the upcoming post-apocalypse action adventure film will bring back another common theme from Mad Max: Fury Road. While the details about the movie are being tightly kept under wraps, Furiosa will be a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, and will tell the origins of Imperator Furiosa as well as her intense battle against the new ruler Dementus and reveal new information about her relationship with Immortan Joe. While the characters and locations seen in the trailer are mostly familiar, it begs the question if Furiosa will expand on themes previously seen.
One of Mad Max's most prominent themes is that of survival and what can become of people when they're stripped of everything that once connected them to their humanity. The films in the Mad Max series accomplish its representations of these themes through its use of desolated locations, unscrupulous villains and morally gray protagonists, and intense action sequences that often leave a lot of carnage in their wake. However, in Mad Max: Fury Road, newer and more thought-provoking themes were introduced to the franchise largely through its new characters. With Furiosa on the way, Furiosa can improve upon Mad Max: Fury Road's biggest theme.

honestly i kinda like it, I find it really annoying when the plot of the movie is spoiled in the trailers
Plus a really poor choice of backing track
The first trailer was actually a fantastic trailer. This is just generic hollywood trailer #5589. Popular music... check. That weird rising synth sounding music that's in every single trailer overlaid on top... check. A series of accelerating beats during a tense moment... check. Meanwhile seeing that first trailer in theaters, in IMAX actually gave me chills.

I'm excited for this but it looks WAY too similar to the last one. At least a dozen shots in this trailer alone looked almost to be directly lifted from 'Fury Road'.

Last movie had tons of bad CGi too. But no one cared cause the movie was bad ass overall.
There is nothing wrong with the CGI from Fury Road or the trailer. Miller tries not to use CGI when he doesn't have to, which is better than any heavy CGI fest.

Первый трейлер дороги ярости (под dies irae) был абсолютным гавном и казалось что под куполом грома был лучше, так что рано судить

How does this tie into the universe we already have though, going by this max would have been in his 60's or older considering Furiosa was at least 30 in fury road, and max was around when there was still grass on earth. (based on the original Mad Max) I NEED ANSWERS
from what i understood, max is around his late 40s early 50s in fury road. but his story is like those of folk tales to be told in campfires. & the radiation in the world could also be a help to slow down the aging process if that makes any sense
It's best to take these movies as individual things with loosely reoccurring characters and themes. There really isn't much continuity, as Miller isn't really bothered about making a concrete storyline(atleast outside the original trilogy).
However Fury Road was going to be about an aging Max making a "last stand" with Mel Gibson reprising his role as Max, but it didn't work out due to how long Fury Road took to make.
The oldest elders lived way older then the elders of this age.
It's a prequel and max won't even be in it.. it's the story of how furiosa gained her reputation to be the respected badass she was in fury road

Looks good but what has it got to do with Mad Max? No need to try to ride on the curtails of MM. Just make it as it's own stand alone story and it will do fine. Mad Max was Mel Gibson and finished with Thunder Dome. This would be good to just be called Furiosa without the Mad Max. It's almost like they are scared to let it live on it's own merits.
