  • Rocky Mountain National Park: With 60 peaks over 12,000 feet and hundreds of lakes and streams, Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most visited parks in the United States. Jack and Colton learn to ride horses, hike the backcountry, and then scale a sheer rock face called The Twin Owls.
The Twin Owls is the name given to a rock formation on the southeast side of Lumpy Ridge in Rocky Mountain National Park, CO. The rock formation looks amazingly just like two gigantic (200 foot tall) owls sitting on a perch (known as the Roosting Ramp). The summit provides a nice view along the top of Lumpy Ridge to the west as well as views of the Longs Peak massif and peaks of the Continental Divide to the southwest.

Glad to see they are starting to put up classic episodes of RTP on youtube!
A solid show, featuring the usual suspects -- scenery, wildlife, hiking, and some rock climbing - along with some good outdoor etiquette advice.
This appears to be from one of the earlier seasons.
I highly recommend the Glacier NP episode if you love hiking the high country :-)

I JUST came back from RMNP last week! Such a great experience! Love your show, can't wait to explore more! I'm now planning a roadtrip to Cumberland Island as I just watched that episode which led me here!

Anyone else thinking: “how are they getting this footage?!?” I think that like 80 times while watching Rock the Park.
