Someone's probably already told you, the producer of Coke Studio this season was/is the producer of Nescafe Basement. Now Soch the Band did a collaborative piece with an 8 year old girl called Hadiya Hashimi within Nescafe Basement, and for most Reactors, it blew their minds. You should check it out

Love your spot on reviews. It's a Punjabi Bhangra (Punjabi dance style) song. Singer Adnan Dhool (lead vocalist of SOCH band) has a very strong voice. Onto the next... the latest, 'Pasoori.' You'll like it. It's light, and artistic (yet again.)
The lead singer in Adnan Dhool from Soch The Band, he is the guy who wrote complete song of Tu Jhoom and also co-wrote this song and Sajan Das Na. He is the same guy who sang with 8 year old gal in Nescafe Basement song "Bol Hu" and his song "Awari" have also been adopted in Bollywood movie Ek Villan.

The lead singer in the red jacket Adnan Dhool is the same guy who sang BOL HU with the 8 year old girl Hadiya Hashmi in the Nescafe Basement, and guess what the music director of Nescafe Basement was the same guy who is directing this season of Coke Studio, one & only Mr. XULFI. This season of COKE STUDIO will surely be remembered for a very long time.

I find the translation quality is dropping in the songs by coke studio. Or the people who translated this did not have a good understanding of Punjabi and English. Earlier seasons like 6-12 had far more difficult lyrics which were beautifully translated.
