Phir milenge: young stunners using the flow of their two most popular songs is a way to express that they have finally achieved what they have been striving for since long. Representing urdu rap at the highest possible stage coke studio where the world can see them and appreciate the art. Xulfi recognizes talent.
Faisal.. well what to say about him.. he is the most iconic voice of his generation. Grew up listening to him and bilal be it sajni, chayee chayee or mera bichra yar.. their music was the epitome of excellence. Their band strings ruled rhe subcontinent for straight 30 years during which they produced 4 seasons of coke studio. It was heart wrenching when they decided to adjourn the band few months back after 30 years. Seeing him sing is just nostalgic and beautiful.
The song it self is a master piece the concept behind it is soo good. Hats off to xulfi and team. The name itself is so fitting for the title of the season finale meaning until we meet again. They are saying farewell in a way that its like some good byes are not to take leave but a prior hello for next time. Blending in the best talents of this generation with a legend veteran like this tells the story of this season and xulfi's mindset about merging both new and old generation and passing on the legacy of Pakistani music. And the ending.. him exiting the studio to say a final good bye while seeing the sun rise ❤️

Go: atif bhai to phir atif bhai hain. Abdullah is so underrated.. he has been the right hand of xulfi this season along with Sherry khattak in the production team. He is a singer as well as producer, composer and writer. He composed and mixed this one. Check out his other songs with both solo and with YS

And I wish Faisal Kapadia’s part in Phir Milenge was longer. The last song was just designed to make us feel parting with the season, feel sad & nostalgic at the same time, and long for reunion :(
The co producer on this song, Abdullah Siddiqui mentioned in the BTS that we went thru several types of music for Phir Milenge, but ended up going with this as it sounded the best to them

Thagyan: the brothers zain and zohaib from Nescafé basement.. QB is probably the best female vocalist of Pakistan for this generation.. do listen to her other songs.. she made her career debut from coke studio years back and since then without her CS is always in complete.. but the real beauty is the fusion behind which the master mind is action Zain

Muaziz Saarif (Dear Customer)... Faris and Meesha are siblings... Meesha did few Coke Studio seasons already but this song is the First one ever when siblings get together... Fun fact - The Helllloooooo part of Shafi verse was the signature intro for Faris when he started his initial songs... Faris on the mic.... Helllloooooo! it's a one take shot! Abdullah Siddiqui & Action Zain did marvelous job in composing this song!
