    I'm thrilled you was able to capture so many different poses and I've never seen one eat worm from ground. This is amazing! Excited to see the Flicka because here we don't have them, maybe in a different area but not any that come where I can watch them. We have, pileated wood hens, several that work all around and the Yellow belly sap pucker, Downy's and Red headed one too, but they stay closer to FIL house. Area around the pond. It's so amazing how many I do get to watch, especially the pileated when their young start learning to find for themselves. The pines make good food source and cover for them. Thanks so much Jay, it's wonderful you're passion for nature is being shared again. 🥰🤗

    The northern flicker ( yellow shafted ) is my home state of Alabama state Bird. Often called the yellowhammer .
