Northern Flicker woodpecker digs in the ground for breakfast

was happy to be able and sit and watch this Northern Flicker woodpecker dig for his breakfast yesterday morning. this is the first time I've seen them on the ground, and also the first time I've ever captured a photo and video of them!
this video taken on 7-acre property in Clearview, Ontario in July 2024.
