The stone that Kratos took from Cronos is the same one he was tricked into swallowing instead of Zeus
Wow! I never thought of that
Wait what is it actually😳
You mean to tell me that stone was still inside the intestine of Cronos after god knows how many years have past?
I've been watching u guys since day one
And u guys made me start playing God of war once again
Wow... Legit information
Hephaestus was a good father who was a selfless person. Most of the characters in these games blame Kratos for the bad things that happened to them and want to kill him for that reason. Hephaestus’s life also got ruined due to kratos yet he still held no grudges against him. But when he heard kratos was seeking out Pandora his whole demeanor changed. He was ready to put his life on the line for her.
Also like to point out 2 things:
The reason Kratos killed Hera - "Good luck with that little wh**e Pandora!" DONT KNOW •WHY THEY TOOK THAT LINE OUT•
BUT, the moment where you start to realize Kratos lost his humanity was the event with Posiedons's Princess.
You guy should watch that scene (Viewer Discretion is advised*) It's 'guaranteed' THE most f'ed up things Kratos has done!!
@@Erkalan20I am joking btw but here is the joke how else he was supposed to keep that door open 😂
All the characters blaming Kratos has always been funny to me, most of it wasn't even his fault, and the parts that were he didn't even know about, for example Hephaestus blaming him for Zeus becoming a monster when Zeus and the Gods are the ones that ordered him to use the box resulting in them becoming monsters instead. They had it coming considering the knew what would happen if Kratos opened the box they assumed he would get the Evils which would mean they would have had to kill him at some point anyway, so them getting the Evils is a hint of irony and what they had coming.
Remember, when Hephaestus was cresting the KEY, he ended up creating Pandora. So yes, she technically IS a "thing" that he MADE.
There's a chunk left out. Pandora is trapped at the center of the labyrinth, the great cube built around the chain. Daedelus(father of icarus) was coerced into building the labyrinth in exchange for the return of his son, the Zeus betrayed him and imprisoned him, guaranteeing his death if someone should solve it. There's even a boss fight against a giant scorpion infused with the power of boreus.
I feel like it was less, he knew he had to let to Pandora go.
More so his anger over Zeus’s words took control at that moment and he couldn’t help but act on it.
It’s the only driving force he had at that point. Much longer than acting like a protective father for Pandora in the the span of maybe a few hours.
The guy you saw hanged was Icarus's father and before kratos killed hera she said "Goodluck with that little whore you call Pandora" and that's why kratos got mad and snapped her neck😂👍🏿
they have skipped the part where hera mocked pandora, which forced kratos to kill her.
even the part where they should introduce the father of icaros that was chained, he explains the tutorial of the labyrinth, which was actually meant for icaros, but kratos reveals to him that icaros is dead.
How does Pandora walk alongside Kratos and not look at least a little startled that Kratos is using Helios' head as a lantern?
probably because she's from the heart of the flame of olympus making her more powerful or more aware of what goes on earth until she's snuffed out.
@@bizzaroblake2519 she's not powerful lol. She literally has no other power besides the ability to snuff out the flame in exchange for her life. She is a living breathing key. Like she said, she looks like a child but she is alot older than kratos. She was created just after the great war with the titans which happened a thousand or so years ago.
Pandoras box was empty because Kratos already opened it releasing everything in it, the power to kill a god he already had it, killed Ares, killed Zeus siblings and still thought the box had something in it still. Now that is what i call blind rage and vengeance.
Hera said "good luck with that little Wh0r3 you call Pandora" which is why kratos snapped her neck
10:45 The man you saw hanging there is Daedalus, architect of the entire Labyrinth that holds Pandora prison but he is also known as Icarus father ( the man who Kratos got his wings from back in God of War 2).
I don't know why they skipped over him but it was probably because he wasn't important to the lore as all the others did.
The gist of what happened between him and Kratos was that at first he mistaken Kratos for his son when Kratos was moving around the Labyrinth only to discover that his son was dead all along. It is the main reason why Kratos show Pandora what hope delivers scene
Before the events of God of war 2 and God of war 3 Zeus had Daedalus build the Labyrinth to hold the "key" to unlocking the Flames of Olympus and with Zeus making false promises that he would bring Icarus back to him but we all know how that turned out. It is the main reason why Kratos show Pandora what hope delivers scene
I found your channel about 2 weeks ago, really love the content. You guys are awesome! Much love, keep up the fun work 😄
16:28 this man Kratos open the box looks at it Zeus laughing at him and roasting him am dead
Hephaestus was the only dude I felt sorry about killing in the game. Well, Perseus too, but … mostly Hephaestus.
So was kratos. He understood his reasons and knew the Smith god was doing his job as a parent
WOW only those two how about the Greek equivalent of heaven where your daughter is and if I remember correctly you also deleted her existence not even a soul now just nothing's and cough cough remember a certain door holder so are those two really the only ones?
@nine star inheritor long chen Calliope isn't deleted. She would of been if we let Atlas finish his plan. Kratos killed hades and it released the souls of the damned. calliope would of stayed in elysium.
@@ninestarinheritorlongchen As for the door holder, are you talking about theseus? Hell no! He was an arrogant prick and would if killed us without any hesitation
Are you talking men only? I felt the worst about Poseidon's Princess. That was gruesome
When he said "the power to kill a god" , dude Kratos u have been killing gods left and right xD
The box was empty because in the mythology the only thing left in it was hope. It symbolic
I saw this one short that said everyone is so freaking stupid in part 3 because Athena died in part 2 and wisdom died along with her... NGL that do make a lot of sense...
All Zeus had to do is either shut up or hell, help Kratos out to pull in Pandora. But of course, Olympian gods can never resist the instinct to run their mouth. It’s all in their genes at this point.
Notice how when each god dies, there is a catastrophe linked to his/her death.
Did you notice that no catastrophies happend when Athena was killed?
She was the goddess of wisdom... when she died everyone became stupid. that is why Hephaestus thought he could outsmart Kratos even after sending him to kill Zeus' father.
Thats why Gaia turned against Kratos, her only ally strong enough to guarantee her a victory against Olympus
The guy hanging that kratos showed is the father of iccarus the person kratos took the wings from. Zues promised his son saftey and would reunite them if he build him the labrynth. Obviously Zues didnt uphold on his promise.
I love your videos keep up the great work this is probably my most favorite reaction video!
The box wasnt empty there was something released and like you said it is a type of enerygy unfortunately you wont find that out until you reach the end. Im not a spoiler so you guys are gonna have to keep watching
There is a dialog that she says that made Kratos break heras neck
"Good luck with that little w@# you call pandora"
I'm pretty much caught up with yall. Great content and love the reactions. Yall earned a sub today 👍🏼
Just started playing ragnarok, there’s a line from Atreus where he asks kratos what’s the biggest thing you ever fought, and I flash back to Kronos, if only Atreus knew 😂
The man you saw hanging on those giant cubes is Daedalus, who was a famous inventor in Greek mythology; among his creations- the wings of Icarus (Icarus was his nephew) and The Labyrinth that contained the Minotaur (not to mention the giant, hollow bull statue where the Minotaur was, uh, "conceived" by Queen Pasiphae and a magic white bull). In some stories, Daedalus and Icarus lived at the center of The Labyrinth, hid away by the gods (OK, Zeus) so they could work, and Daedalus made the wings for Icarus to escape.
The box is empty. There were two powers he released that energy athena refrenced went into kratos once he had to kill ares (the blue energy of hope) Athena assumed kratos used the dark powers to kill ares and everyone else was scared of kratos but it was the power of hope that went into kratos while the hods were consumed with the dark energy. (it explains why they are more concerned on torturing and harming kratos as they weren't as aggressive with him until the box was opened. (the gods were willing to help kratos up until after the box was opened giving him plenty of powers to do the job.
Only Zeus was consumed by the dark energy which was the power of fear. The other gods were uncorrupted. They were just following order from Zeus who was corrupted. Zeus uses the power of fear and nearly kills kratos in the final fight until kratos gains access to the power of hope and overwhelms him.
@@calebstephan2083 Athena said it corrupted them all and changed them. That not even zues could stop what happened to them
I will always love the line about hope
Almost nobody pays attention to it
15:51 I think that's exactly what Zeus wanted.
Absolutely love the style of how you react to this series, absolutely love the GOW reactions guys, would love you to see you react to the next GOW 4 & 5 games too, or even a playthrough? 💪❤️🔥💪❤️🔥💪❤️🔥
The man Kratos showed hanging from the chains name was Daedalus he was the father of Icarus the crazy guy kratos killed in Gow 2 and took the wings he uses now.
The way Tasha looks at you is like, she wants a peice of you, like Kratos wants the pandora box 😂
You guys should definitely react to the new GOW series after this 💪
Zues was consumed by fear the first time kratos open the box Pandora was the hope that needed to be released into the world witch is why you see all the little white sparkles
Oh i see yall mess with rock music. Glad yall found each other
Loving the god of war series y’all got going on but after this I think y’all would like astartes and the 40k universe after y’all finish Kratos and his story!
Where should we start. I’m looking for a series to jump into.
@@TNTGamingonline I would start with astartes the fan made film then move into bricky every faction explained for lore and luetin
The man chained up in the labyrinth is Icarus' father, awaiting his son to fly down but Karost killed Icarus in God of War 2 and stole his wings, sadly we end up killing his father too which wasn't in this edit. Zeus promised to reunite the father and child after the creation of the labyrinth but he imprisoned Icarus' father and sent Icarus to the sisters to rewrite his fate and rejoin his father knowing it was a doomed mission
They always underestimate Kratos' intelligence, just cause he's blinded by vengeance don't make him stupid😂, Hera found that out the hard way
Awesome video.
you guys are right. there was something in the box , it was invisible to the eye
Lol one more episode for the big revelation
15:08 Yo, what was that run? 😂 So violent.
The old man hanging in the labyrinth was icarus father. The he ripped the wings off of.
Na kratos just couldn’t control his rage when Zeus said something about kratos’ late family He couldn’t help it an he went for Zeus leaving pandora to slip into the box “lol”
Right below the belt 15:38
The reason the world goes to chaos as Kratos kills the gods is b/c the gods forcibly shaped the world. And with the gods gone, the world is trying to restore itself to order.
The box is empty because its going to pull a twist, and they where fighting over it because they thourgh there was still the power of hope and the evils inside it
The giant Rubix Cube is the Labyrinth that Deadales, father of Icuras, build for Zues.
Yoooo is that the voice actress for clementine fromt he walking dead games voicing pandora ?
Kratos did pass his power down... Kratos power was hope
update on god of war playthrough: I skipped 3 because i got it on ps4. The last one is ascension but i can't get it to run. I won't give up
10:40 the video must've skipped his part but that's Icarus's father. Remember in the second game Icarus keep on spewing nonsense about "this is my trial". His dad was basically waiting for him on the finish line. This is a gross oversimplification but that's basically what's going on
You would have thought cronos would have learnt he swallowed his first borns and tries it with his second generation born bloodline descendents, kratos being one of them.
Pandora’s box was a container that had sickness, death and random evils in it. That when opened get released onto the world. I think 😅
No Pandoras box had the power of hope sealed in it the power of fear nd power of despair I think ...the first time kratos opened it he released the power of fear and despair into the world that's y Zeus became what he became nd this time he absorbed the power of hope from the box
@@dimpgaming1175 ohhhh I’m sorry, I was talking about the actual Greek mythology not the GOW game. I thought you guys wanted to know about both. Not a clue about the game. I’m watching it for the 1st with you guys. 👍🏾
@@danielanderson668 yeah. In the game Pandora's box held the concept of several negative emotions like fear, rage etc. To counter the power of those negative emotions Athena managed to harness and seal the power of hope alongside it in the box. After the box was opened the power of hope went into kratos and the negative emotions and powers were released elsewhere with Zeus being infected with the power of fear. They never explained where the other negative emotions went to. We only know that hope went into kratos and fear went into Zeus.
HOPE!
After you guys finish with this story you'll should react to the god of war novel which is is up on youtube
He killed Hera because she called Pandora the W@ore. Thats why he snapped her.
The old man in chain is the father of Icarus.
7:45 just like the titans before them each controlled an aspect of nature, so did the Olympians. the only thing I didn't like was how helios' death caused the sky to get covered in clouds...the sky is for Zeus to command...Helios is the sun, so with his death a total solar eclypse would've been more fitting.
"I think I can trust her.".
-Famous last words (especially for THIS game)
And hey, what better light source than the head of a sun god (and not to give any spoilers, but the games in the Norselands have a similar, if not exact, situation)?
I will say I was a little sad when I had to kill Hephaestus because he only wanted to protect pandora from death
Yea, that was kind of messed up.
can you guys watch the full boss fight next as the finale of the series
Kratos decapitating Helios is definitely on CZcams
We can’t upload it
I understand. I meant to say that I watched a video of that scene on CZcams lol.
6:45 the video skipped it but the reason kratos snapped her neck is bcs hera insulted pandora
Here dying didn't produce pestilence, but the dying of the earth. Of nature, plants and trees. She was the goddess of nature, and with her gone all plant life and animal life will start to wilt and die. Keep in mind, all of this is only happening in the pantheon of the Greek gods. Other pantheons where other gods exist, this isn't happening... yet. Greece won't suffer for long. This is all paving the way for someone else
by the way hera was kill because she spoke about Kratos family, if i remember correctly?
I dont know, but Im guessing the box is empty cause he already has the power to destroy a God.
Rip rip torn
"Empty"
he doesn't absorbe the gods powers after they die, and every time they die there are consequences.
But.... the box isn't empty.
The reason why everyone said that kratos needed to open pandora's box and why was it empty,is because the box has two things inside of it, Great evils and a great power.the reason why everyone told him he needs the box, was because everyone thought that when kratos opened the box in gow2 the evils inside the box was released into kratos and the gods and the great power stayed inside the box. And the evil inside the box could only be killed using that power which is why kratos needed to open the box again in gow3. But the box was empty, because when kratos opened the box before in gow2 kratos actually got the great power but he never used it while zeus and the gods were taken by the great evil inside the box. Which is why everyone thought that the box contained something still when the box was empty.[idk if this is a spoiler or not so here] And kratos couldn't use the power because he didn't forgive himself
There was really nothing in the box the whole time. What I don't get is how Kratos was after "the power to kill a god" the whole time, and didn't figure out he already had it when he killed 5 gods just before.
Yeah. That's what annoyed me. This mf keeps talking about the power to kill a god like he didn't just merk several other gods prior to confronting Zeus 😂. Well anyway the power of hope was locked inside kratos all along. After Pandora sacrificed herself she was able to enter the power of hope inside kratos and show kratos how to access it.
I wonder if you would be willing to react to the lore of DMC3 because prequel, DMC(2001), DMC2, DMC4, and DMC5
Less Gore more Suave
Are you guys gonna react to god of war 2018 after god of war 3 ?
Yes
Just look up GoW 3 full game cutscenes and it’ll show all the cutscenes
10:28 yo she looks like Oscar from Shark Tales
Dedalo father of icarus cosructor of labirinth of minose in greek myth
You missed the part where Kratos visit Aphrodite
oh.... we seen it alright
Yall such a cute couple
Kratos not only banged Hephaestus wife but also intended to kill his daughter . He was more than justified to kill Kratos
the video is cutting out key parts
The reason why kratos killed hera is because she called Pandora a whore
Was there an edit becuase Hera is supposed to call Pandora a whore and that angers Kratos and he kills her, not her saying you destroy all you touch
yes. I think the original video edited it out
Also Kratos killed Hera cause she called Pandora a wh*re
Kratos never absorbed tge powers of the gods. Except hades. His soul was absorbed so kratos could safely criss the river styx and use the hyperion gates to get out of hades quickly. The other gods lose their grip on their domains and it is removed from the world causing more harm without someone to fix the damage.
He killed her because she called pandora a whore
Whoever was playing in this video, was a little bit lost and couldn’t edit accurately.
2 grown men fighting over a girl's box
lol
I think GoW 3 is the only old GoW you should play to fully understand
Not sure where you’ve been getting these scenes for your videos but you’re definitely missing a lot of context especially with the scenes with god of war 3. But you’ve also been missing a lot of scenes for context in all the other god of war games.
The original video is cutting so much important things, it's giving me OCD
You guys are watching the wrong story videos the editor is being stingy with his content.
There are too many cuts
Flagged?? How, there are plenty of videos showing the kratos and Helios scene still up!!!!
we asked youtube the same thing. But I also see that many of the God of war videos are censored. Seems like they play favorites with certain channels. All I know is that we don't want to risk losing our channel over community guideline violations.
Y'all milking this series way to long lmao
Sorry dude but the entire video is 7hrs. Between work and our other videos we don’t have time to record and edit this in one sitting. We do what’s feasible for us.
Watch god of war 2018 and God of war Ragnarok to see his son Atreus
