this is exactly me when i discovered her with the same song. i was 15 when it came out :) she is so talented and free and i can just soak myself in this aura of hers. she just shows that you dont need to be ariana and show your talent, instead aurora is bringing a certain kind of energy into a song and invite people into her world

I liked that contrary to other vocal coaches who get stuck on technique, you are able to understand the artistic choices and why the artist made them over technique. To me technique is tool, a very valuable one, but still a tool to serve the music and not the other way around.

What's amazing about this cover is that they didn't know what cover they would do when they got to the studio (radio show in Norway) and then was given a random song that they got an hour to make a cover of - so it's very spontaneous - not something they had time to practice and go over. They all are very talented musicians ❤️

Always to me the contrast between Aurora's voice and how she moves is quite fantastic. Her voice is so otherworldly and she moves with a fierceness that can be anything from frightening to entrancing. I find her almost supernaturally strong --because she does not hide, but puts everything she feels forward into her art. I'm not speaking in metaphors, her power is her vulnerability.

This particular performance is part of a series on a radio station where artists are asked to perform a cover and given only one hour to rehearse.
this wouldn't usually have been a song she would have chosen to perform, but it's an amazing version considering they will have only told her what song she will be singing one hour prior to this recording.
It's also why she sings a few of the lines as 'na na na na na...' they were lines she felt uncomfortable with because they were too sexual, as she wanted to concentrate on the idea of "godliness' of the woman.
