Several ppl need subtitles and my french skills cant translate the whole thing. Anybody willing to help, drop me the the translation and I'd be really glad of making something more useful out of this by including them :)
Yet another SIGGRAPH '01 clip. French clip with inspiring music and video set up.
This one´s poetry in motion, beautiful, I really wuv it too. It is hard not to fall in love with it! Definitely one of my favs.

Hi all I'm one of the creator of the movie, thanks for watching it we apreciate the comment..this movie is quite old now (2000) but we're still proud of it. A translation has already been made and I will post it there if you wishes. Thanks for the nice comments guys and gals.
Last things this movie was made in 3d in maya and we use lots of ink to make the textures.

The clouds and the flying fishes

Today I tought that I heard a noise but that was only the sea noise
one of the most visually beautiful animations i've ever seen in my life. i love the style and the water color textures.

Roughly translated:
1.Night and day, day and night, nothing but clouds and flying fish. Today, like every morning, I went to open the shutters of the city.
2.Like every evening, an hour before sunset, I closed them. If only I had a little snow from the mountains. The day would pass much quicker.
3.Today I thought I heard a noise, but it was only the sound of the sea.
Le jour, la nuit, la nuit, le jour, les nuages et les poissons volants. Aujourd'hui, comme tous les matins, je suis allée ouvrir les volets de la ville. 2. Et comme tous les soirs, une heure avant le coucher du soleil, je les ai refermés. Si seulement j'avais un peu de neige de la montagne. Le jour passerait plus vite. 3.Aujourd'hui j'ai cru entendre un bruit, mais c'était le bruit de la mer.

Je suis sûr qu'il y a plein de français qui pourrait traduire en commentaire le texte tant il est simple, cependant, il perdrait la magie que la langue lui donne sans doute...
sauf que le poète qui a écrit cela est francophone (mais basque) , c'est Jules Supervielle.
