    Great tool to have in your toolbox as a Auto Glass Installer. It was designed for the floating windshields like a VW Jetta and Passat, but I have used it on almost 90% of our installs. Like a Ford F250,Chevy 1500,Mercedez and Honda civics. The fiber wire you use with the WRD will usually last about 5-6 cut outs per line length of 4-5 feet long. A little time to setup the tool like a 5-6 minute time frame, but well worth it.

    I like this way! I remember last year me and my dad changed my backglass with no tools whatsoever... Took us a couple of hours hahaha But I'm glad I learned how to do it. Definitely gonna do it like this guy next time.

    I have used this tool for over a year now. After the initial learning curve it has retired most of the usage of my other tools. This includes the Express, BTB, Heat Inductor, cold knives, etc. After twenty five years of grunting and having a bad back, carpal tunnel problems, golfer's and tennis elbows, it's clearly time to work smarter. Don't be a hack who looks for the quickest cutout times. Your body will pay dearly. When the Spider is used correctly, time is your friend

      @gusbisbal9803 Před 9 lety +3

      This is US$770 investment when you may only have to do this twice a year. Compared to a $10 investment a little effort. Your making out that working your body destroys it. It does, over working your body dose. Using a knife for 5 minutes is not going to cause you harm, that is just fact. And Dude, do you really think we don't know your affiliated and selling these things please....

      You need to pull almost parallel to the edge... from my experience. Not perpendicular or other odd angles, as it'll add stress to the edge of the glass.

    good to C the glue can be cut with a Yr be straight pressure along a whole side. relying on the strength of the windsheild it’s self to hold the pulley in place mA often not be a safe optian w/broken windsheilds - but still, cutting with a line one straight side at a time, qUl✋😑
