BMW 763m vs 788m Wheels Comparison

- I picked up a set of BMW 763m wheels to replace the 788m on my M2 Competition and thought it might be fun to take a close look at them and compare. Either of these wheels looks great on F3x and F8x cars.

Great looking rims. I keep a spare set of rims for both my 328dx Touring and our Mini Countryman. Love Blizzaks in the snow (Colorado) but hate having them on when the springtime finally hits! Great videos, btw. Love your work here and comments on BMW forum!

Those 763M’s are my favorite wheel, although in Frozen Gold because they would look great on my black car!

Great video, totally agree, cleaning the 788s are tiresome and they never stay clean for long
Your videos are awesome. Personally, I think 763's are a little too rich for my blood, maybe i'll get the 788's painted in that nice silver color you have on your 763s. I hate the two tone finish BMW used on all the M2 wheels (other than obviously the 763s.) Anyway, thanks again for making these videos and also weighing everything. The brake video was great as well!
There have been some really nicely refinished 788ms I've seen pictures of. Post pics of yours whenever you get them done!
Have you seen the sizes available for the forged replica from Richland forged to get that 9.5/10.5 setup?
I was actually thinking about those when I saw this 763m set pop up for sale locally. There's just something that irrationally draws me towards wanting to run BMW brand wheels for the street.
Been looking at wheels to buy cuz I hate cleaning the 788.. purchased some rohana rfx11 but the 19x11 offset was no good so they refunded me
the ones that comes on the m3/4 cs don't have the performance letters on the front 🙂
Hi there! Are you running the DS2500s on the stock rotors or on the APs? How is the noise when DD? I have them on 2NH and it’s a bit noisier than I would like, particularly below 5mph.
The DS2500 I have are on the AP brake kit. Honestly, I don't like them for DD pads. They dust like hell and squeal even after being properly bedded. I have the anti rattle clips for the AP calipers too.

He explained when you watch the video that he bought them second hand and the p o had them repainted.

BMW's own site says they're forged in the product description.

@@FaRKle0079 Think he's referring to the 788M's as not being fully forged.
Put the rims on the car not on top of the car. A 👎 from me
