I just got mine this past weekend too! I'm pretty happy with that head sculpt but yeah, the paint is a bit lacking. It's a better likeness to me of Jensen Ackles than the Dean Winchester figure from Qmx, I think. I was kind of expecting the figure to be a bit more muscular since I know the actor really did bulk up for the role as opposed to depending on a padded suit like Antony Starr. I does drive me crazy that the magazine keeps falling out of the gun.
Super happy with him! Damn I was hoping that would just be mine with the magazine issue!
@@JustinsCollection I ended up putting a tiny piece of sticky tack in it. The same with the foot that keeps falling off
Got my figure yesterday and I'm loving it! The only issues I have are the articulation leaves a bit to be desired, and the paint on the hair could be better. Other than that it's a top notch figure with a great likeness in the head sculpt. Thanks for the review, mine will be up this week as well.

I don't know if it's Soldier Boy (even though he's an a-hole), or Jensen Ackles, but I couldn't get enough of em. Loved Supernatural, and apparently Jeffrey Dean Morgan is coming to the show so SWEET! Comedian-Negan, can't wait to see what he does.
I also loved that Soldier Boy's shield was super thick and heavy, I always thought it made sense if super heros with super human strength just also had some really thick and heavy armor too.
Overall, the head sculpt if very good, maybe little too much denting in the cheek by the nose, but nice. Also, maybe his hands/arms look small because the chest armor is so bulky like in the show, hard to say.
Agreed he's dope in the show!

The sculpt on the head is fantastic but the texturing makes it look a bit cartoony, it's a shame because it's sooo good!

Yeah, I think those fists should be further down the leg in a neutral pose. Based on the wrinkles and stuff I think the forearms specifically are too short, but it may be the arms overall. Could also be thrown off by the belt going low, position of the knee pad maybe making the thigh look longer, but...

Hooboy I finally got around to the show (been on a violent superhero binge - 1st Netflix Daredevil, then Peacemaker, then The Boys). And just got to the big Soldier Boy ep with the "party"!! I'm thinking a few more figs are going to find their way into the collection. I mean Butcher and the baby? C'mon... Unfortunately I got spoiled, not enough time to hit pause when you said spoiler alert. My own fault for looking I guess. Oh well one more season after this to go!

The Toyswonderland access to the figure is not working properly as of the noon PST here in CA, as a result it is displayed but leads to a null page, even if you go search it on the page without clickling any links, it's weird.

Update: I contacted ToysWonderland and they said they are changing into "level" based rewards system, so if you had points you have to email them to turn those into a coupon for you before May 29 2024.
Oh, and if you bought anything from them in April 2023, you get nothing, no rewards of any kind because that was their transition period.

Soosootoys just released their version, I don't think it's as good.. There's something terrifying and kinda hilarious about Soldier Boy, he's portrayed excellently by the actor Jensen Ackles.

The legs, it's not the arms or the hands, the legs look like chicken legs, or like gorilla legs, chonky arms and torso, and spindly legs. Looks like he skipped leg day all day

It doesn’t look anything like Jensen Ackles, it needs work. I’ve watched this actor for most of my life and he is my favorite actor..so yes I think in my opinion the head sculpt needs work, the only thing that fits are the shape of the eyes and the hair.

I am a MASSSSSSIVE Jensen Ackles fan. I am extremely disappointed with this head sculpt. It’s like they didn’t even put a single ounce of effort into it. That does not look anything like him.
