    The Raptors won only one Atlantic Division game all season long which was the first game after the all-star break against Brooklyn... that has to be a NBA record.

      Right on men. People don’t realize , when building a team focus has to be on the devision , then conference. Ujiri and Webster are all over the place. These two are completely lost.

    I think they just let Gary walk Unless they can get him to sign a 3 year 45 million deal. Then he stays.
    I still believe we use the Bruce brown contract to try and move up in the draft. The pacers pick could be 17-22. I believe we will try and use the Bruce brown contract to try and move up to 12-14. Okc has two picks. And New Orleans has a pick. Both those teams have way to many young players already

    Our record is horrible without Jak. He’s part of our present and under contract for 3 more years. I don’t see the issue. If anything we need a back up center in case he goes down again. Preferably a young one we can develop and eventually replace him. Kelly is a really a stretch 4 not 5.

      @tom_ttt i think what you are ignoring is the fact Jakob Poeltl has said twice publicly he doesnt want to be on a rebuilding team after he left the spurs organization. So what you dont realize is Jakob Poeltl really doesnt want to be in toronto and is asking quietly to be traded as to not hurt his trade value to team. You see Jakob at his age, wants to be on playoff teams competing for a championship because he is in his prime and wants a ring. And raptors are not gonna win a ring or be contenders in 4 years.

      @@giovanni-ed7zqhe said in an interview as long as raps arent actively trying to lose he is comfortable
      - essentially understood the losing season/injury thing, as long as we arent playing to lose

    • @giovanni-ed7zq
      @giovanni-ed7zq Před měsícem +2

      @@Htiy that was his 2nd public statement toned down so he doesnt lose value in trade for raptors while he is quietly asking for a trade out of toronto. its was a watered down politically correct way of saying what he said the first time. That was the unbridled truth. He said he doesnt want to be on a rebuilding team, and he didnt leave the spurs to go into another rebuilding situation was his first public statement. At his age, he wants to be on winning teams that are contending to win championships. Because Jakob is getting older and he wants a ring at his stage in his career.

    • @giovanni-ed7zq
      @giovanni-ed7zq Před měsícem +2

      @@Htiy so next time read his first statement and compare it to the 2nd. then realize what he said the 2nd time, he said because he didnt want to have bad optics or lose trade value as he quietly asks for a trade out of toronto. also be objective and look at the raptors team. they are less talented than they were at begining of season, and when they lose gary trent, boucher and brown, their bench will be lead by agbaji and mcdaniels next year. the raptors are not gonna contend for any championships in the next 3-4 years. they will be a bad team for at least 2 seasons i believe and maybe 3.

      Jakob Poeltl doesnt want to be on the raptors or in toronto because he has said publicly twice, he didnt leave the spurs to come to another rebuilding situation. So jakob is quietly asking for a trade out of toronto is the reality.

    If we end up losing this potential top ten pick the yak trade is a disaster. It was iffy at the time. It’s way worse now with how things played out. I really thought we would trade yak to OKC. They need a big man like yak.

    It seems like the Bulls aren’t entirely convinced on paying Patrick Williams the $20m+ he’s seeking in RFA this offseason. I think the 22yo stretch four would fit so well with this core. Would love to see a sign-and-trade of GTJ or Bruce Brown and draft compensation for P-Will.
