The Baltimore Museum of Industry offers dynamic indoor and outdoor spaces with permanent and rotating exhibits, classrooms, performance spaces and a pavilion. Indoors, the gorgeous and spacious Decker Gallery will serve as the location of our Main Stage with room for up to 500 attendees. Additionally, there is a 70-person theater for more intimate performances. There are multiple classrooms for workshops. There is ample room for jamming and socializing both inside and outside along the water with stunning views of the city. The pavilion is an ideal setting for our square dance with room for hundreds of dancers. Last but not least, there are 150 free parking spaces on site. The venue has an overall capacity that is nearly double what we've had in the past. We'll really be able to spread out while allowing us to grow!
This festival is a labor of love for the festival organizers. Our mission is to celebrate where this music exists today and where it is going by elevating a diverse set of voices within the community. We count on the support of our festival-goers to power the mission of the festival. As we expand, our expenses continue to increase. Anything you can donate will go a long way towards ensuring the future of a festival that has become a marquee event in the community.
