In Japan they are called Izuzu "D-Tec" and are well known nicknamed "Elf's". Lol Strong trucks to. See them all over the Philippines and they over load them every day here with Rice, banana, pineapple, cement, sand and Coconuts. Most are 30 plus years old.
No thanks needed. I like to promote good clean channels with good content. Thank you for the shout out as well. Those trucks make great little ramp trucks. Put air to each one of those fittings with fuel in the tank...the one that sounds like air bubble by in the fuel is likely the fuel supply. The vent will just sound like air blowing out of the fill neck.
Old fuel killed that truck.. as you said drain tank clean it, flush all lines out , change fuel filter etc..get a flat bed if you can find one with a headache rack attached.. cab protected rackon bed
Hopefully a fresh fuel filter will help with the misfire. There is also a little plastic screen filter which could be plugged up that threads inside of the banjo bolt on the steel fuel supply line going into the lift pump.
i WOULD SUGGUST TO DO IT FIX IT UP AND DEPENDING ON YOUR BUDGET YOU SPEND ON REPAIR THIS THING YOU HAVE THERE . IT WOULD BE SOMETHING YOU BRING BACK TO LIFE AND SO CAN BE DRIVEN BRAND NEW PAINTTED UP SEE IF YOU CAN DO IT . iF WAS DOING IT .I WOULD RESTORE IT BACKT O GLORY TO GET IT BARND NEW AGAIN.
I bet if you change the fuel filters it will clear out. I like the way that sounds with the turbo whine. I think with a little work, that Isuzu can be a useful vehicle. Chevy Duramax engines are made by Isuzu and mated to Allison autos. Maybe that's the same engine. Keep the liftgate. At this point it's free. I also watch JC Smith projects. That's an interesting channel.
Sorry I'm a little late to the party but there's a remote start button right behind air filter so ya dont have to keep running back and forth on the metal bump stop crossmember with a little yellow shroud on it, key has to be in auxiliary
I’ve rented the Izusu box truck from Enterprise truck leasing to move some things. These things can turn around in their own length it’s absolutely amazing. Very stable driving truck as well.
If you could a high cube van body to mount on the frame, you could build out a killer motor home. Those things run forever, and super reliable, quite fuel efficient. Who could ask for anything more?
I just bought one like this for $2,500. It won't start and need to learn how to trouble shoot like this young man. Thanks for the video. This is a lot of help.

In Costa Rica you can still see Isuzu Trucks from early 1970's rolling around, man those trucks are build really though

Those were also sold under the name GMC by GMC dealers.

Trouble with using easy start the engine ends up wanting it all the time

My father is a civil engineer we have one. You can leave it for 20 years, just change the battery it will run.
I remember my dad used to drive those cabovers back in the 90s when he worked for wise potato chips.
Oh the beautiful sound of timing gears! We call them Isuzu Juston, medium-sized trucks. We love them here in the Philippines still.

Those pld Isuzu trucks were better than the new ones ,my dad owned a 87 npr 3.9 diesel back in the 2000's and felt in love with it
Those trucks are tough like a tank.
Sweet purchase fix the turbo rust and put a straight pipe on it would sound amazing
