Nice video! If you had one tip to give someone who wants to learn the trade. What would that be ? Thanks
If you really wanted to learn it, as in, make a living out of it.... I think my best tip would be "don't give up".
A lot of people in the Facebook groups and stuff get into tinting because they think it's going to be easy and it is anything but that. There are so many variables and factors that go into this. If they don't get "perfect" results in the first couple of tries they give up. Or if their business doesn't take off in two months, they sell all their stuff and give up.
If you really want to do this as more than a hobby, it's going to take dedication and lots of trial, error, and practice.
Thanks for the reply! It’s going to be more of a hobby for me unless it turns into something more. We have many window tinters in my area so it’s very competitive. I’m going into this knowing it’s going to be very difficult and frustrating but have always wanted to learn. I’m just trying to learn everything I can before I attempt it. I’ve been watching all of your videos to help so thanks for that! I know some of the new vehicles has like a yellow tint to the windows or some coating is there anything special you have to do for that? Thanks again!
Thanks for watching! I am glad you are finding them useful. On the windows with yellow coatings DO NOT use a razor blade on them. You can scratch the coating and then you would need to replace the glass (typically around $700) or just live with the scratch. If you just want it to be a hobby, understand you won't be saving any money but I can't tell you how rewarding it is once you start seeing improvement and end up laying a near perfect window. I really enjoy that feeling. lol
Thanks for the help!
@@Ryanr2789 no problem at all!
When tinting windows on 2015 f-150's, do you fit the tint so that it goes behind the door seal or do you just bring it up against the seal? If you do go behind the door seal could you give me a couple tips on how to go about it? thanks!
Hang on, I think I have a video for you. Let me finish this car and I'll see.

@@fastlanecarcarellc3608 That vid helped me a lot Thanks. How many dish soap do you mix into your water for your spray solution?
@@modsquad850 it will depend on what tint you use. My film liked about 1oz/gallon. So if you're using a spray bottle, just a couple of squirts.
That is, for 2 staging. If you want to bottom load the tint you will need a little more soap so it will slide easier.
