Such a great interview, Billy! Her comfort level with you allowed you to bring out her down to earth and genuine qualities (and her joy). Love when women admit vocally they want to be good and compete. Have a strong feeling this won't be the last we're hearing of Katie Asmuth!
I like the line about not really being in pain but its more of just an expected sensation, I guess I felt the same way but never really put words to it or described it that way. Glad to hear and plan on using that mentality very soon! Always something to learn from others. Thanks

Amazing interview! Thanks! A couple of interesting things:
- finding a balance between confidence (to compete and run ultras) with humbleness (running an ultra is getting into the unknown)
- considering running as life journey!
