- In this video, I show you how to reset an iPad to factory settings. It is a fairly simple process, and I go through the step-by-step instructions. Doing this will literally delete all of the media, content, and settings from your iPad, so please make sure that you are prepared to get rid of it all before going through with the factory reset.

Just found my brother's lost iPad , well I guess its mine now but thanks for the info really helpful.
Same, but 4 days later my Sibling caught me using her iPad and then said "Yoo its still working? Why I can't can't access the lock?" (I literally Changed the password)
me: "Idk man maybe you forgot your password"
In conclusion she reset the iPad and yeah I don't have anymore that ipad :(

Yo, just sign out of ur Apple ID and make new one. If u mean ur iPad password sign into the apple website on ur comp and then use ind my iPhone to factory reset

Just going through this myself. Hopefully you found out before you reset it. I think you have to sign out of iCloud before you reset it. I think this is pretty important. Otherwise anything in iCloud could be deleted. At least that is my understanding. I want to keep my notes in iCloud

There's nothing on the Apple iPad anybody showed me to where I can reset factory do it with just pushing the buttons without a computer or anything like that like you do a Samsung tablet for something like that can't you do an Apple iPad tablet like that can you push like off button on button all that and just get to the settings or get through the where you wipe the data
Before these steps, you have to go to Find my iPad and disable. Otherwise, it will NOT remove your iTunes account from this device.
I've actually been doing nothing but this 420 hours every day for the last 5 days and it keeps asking for the person's Apple ID and it gives you only three word messages such as timed out and also it tells me that it's the wrong phone number and the wrong email address and the wrong Apple ID he has confirmed and you could see by looking at 99,000 games what his email address is what his Apple ID is and what his phone number is as confirmed on several screens that I have taken photos of. So apparently Apple has something wrong with your computer systems because I have input his Apple ID and email address probably 40 million times in the last 5 days and still nothing works. So I now and throwing iPad number 7 in the fireplace iPhone number 9 in the garbage can yes it's illegal but that's how much I hate these products apple sucks they've sucked from day one I've never been able to use any of my Apple products they all suck
