So how can you just bypass the initial lock screen password (4 digits I believe) on an ipad A1458 (an older unit)? The iPads (3 or 4) were given to me from the owner. All I want to do is use the built in camera system. Not steal or copy the previous owners info (boring! They were used for restaurant purposes)

What if you have no mac or windows computer and it say ipad disabled connect to itunes
If you have another iPhone or iPad, you can log into www.icloud.com/find with the Apple ID you used on your disabled iPad, then earse it.

Does it mean both Apple ID and Lock Screen passcode have been forgotten? You need to have your Apple ID and password in place to set up the device and use it again after resetting iPad.

You say enter the password. Password is lost. This is the only reason I have for coming here. I cannot regain the password if I have lost or accidentally deleted it.

A factory reset will remove the forgotten passcode if you follow the steps in the video. BTW, you need to turn on "Subtitles/closed captions" option at the bottom right of the video screen to show what the video said.
