It's not mandatory at all. Post pharmacy we have so many carrier options like CDM, medical coding, sas, PV etc. It's your choice, what to choose. I am here to help how to prepare for an interview.
And believe me all the options in pharma IT are best atleast for now to join as a fresher (better than core Pharma jobs). Hope I answer your question. All the best
