In this episode Matthew destroys two rolls of Kodak Ultramax 400 by overexposing the film and shooting at 200 iso. Eh #kodakfilm #filmphotography #35mmphotography #detroit #ultramax Happy birthday mom
Sorry to hear that the absence of a light meter ruined your experience. I would highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with the sunny 16 rule. Once it’s firmly in your mind you’ll be able to choose correct exposure just by looking at your scenes and choosing your settings. As a general rule, over exposing any negative film (slide film not so much) by a stop or two will give you very good results. When in doubt, add a stop. I’ve been shooting film since the mid 1960s, so there’s that.. 😏.
Really like the velodrome photos, a great location
Thank you! I was actually just back there on Saturday looking for wild flowers to photograph. Super cool spot
