No it was just in his head. If you listen to the announcement they didn’t have the right stuff IN THE CORNER TO STOP BLEEDING even post fight press they asked tim how he felt and he said no comment.
Tim Tszyu didn't want to quit like victor ortiz back in the day. he cared about all of the people who paid tickets to watch him fight live. it helps his reputation.

Yea but doctors are use to fighters not being able to see due to injury around the eyes, if the doctor is asking can you see for a cut at the top of your head, and you say yes, well the doctor let him continue the fight.

I'm hurt I had a couple parlays with same fighter Cruz...Estrada...Valdez ..etc some where 14 leg parlays my lowest one was 5 leg parlay all of em I just needed tszyu to win once I seen the cut I thought ref would stop it but he fucked everything up for not stopping it

He was landing flush up until that cut occurred. After the cut fundora just used his jab and couldn't miss. Realistically a rematch would be best but this is a business. Spence vs fundora at cowboy stadium, fundora is a freak show attraction and that will bring a large live audience

Vision impaired is one of the more direct and obvious reasons to assess and call the fight off.
How about blood volume loss?
It’s one of the worst places you can physically have a cut and it actually is the Dr’s duty of care in their role ringside to make calls on injuries such as this regardless of what the fighter is giving you verbally.

What happened was that the dr and the ref both believed so much in Tim that they made a bad call. Tim of course said he wanted to continue so they allowed it.

There's going to be a lot of interest in a rematch which would probably do much better PPV numbers than the 1st fight. Paulie wears his heart on his sleeve. Maybe Tim could see while he was in the corner when asked but he wasn't asked if he could see during an actual round.

We should talk about the cutman too. Stitch Duran said that the cutman failed Tim and so did the announcers. They may have thought the bleeding would stop and that's why they continued the fight. Once it was obvious that wasn't gonna happen they should have stopped the fight. When questioned about having the right drugs in the corner Tim said "no comment" in the post fight conference. According to the cards, he would have won the fight if they stopped it late.
Ringside Physician also looked at him at least twice. Said he was going to monitor it and said it was ok 🤷
@@doccholo905 He wouldn't work again if he called off the fight on his own and he had to be blind if he couldn't see all the blood going into his eyes. You can't count on paid officials to do what's right for the fighters.

I agree with Paulie fight should been stopped in 3rd or 4rth round- the doc even looked at it in the 3rd round and nodded his head signaling it was a bad cut and I thought fight is over. This was accidental elbow - so would have been no contest or gone to points after 4 rds-is different than fury fight where the bleeding was bec of a legal punch and if they stopped the fight he would have lost by tko. In the end it is doctor’s call. Was real bad cut, he lost lots of blood.
Tim your wrong the dr should’ve stopped the fight it was plain to see Tim couldn’t see regardless of what Tim may have said the dr is well within his rights to stop that fight as Pauline mentioned we’ve seen fights get stopped under those exact circumstances. Poor job from the Dr.
I 100% agree with Tim on the corner however, Tzyu could’ve walked out with those belts if his corner didn’t let him down.

Can you see? The answer should have been the blood is in my eye!!! Doctor would have stopped it! The wound didn’t impair his vision the blood did. The corner is responsible for not knowing the rules any trainer other than those guys would have saved their fighter knowing he’s at a disadvantage.
Tough luck for Tzu with that big cut on his head. Luck was on Fundora's side & now he is a world boxing champion. On a rematch Tzu will beat Fandora no doubt, hoping he doesn't get cut again. 24:01

I wasn't a fan of the old man and was reluctant to get on board until last weekend, but Tsyzu deserves his respect. He didn't look for a way out like most boxers in this era would have. He put the fans first and did his best until the final bell. PBC needs to do right by him and give him the opportunities that he deserves.
