I genuinely believe that Sadie has forgoten about it and loves Eve for the other things that they've lived. It's evident that they truly care for each other. Eve has even expressed a willingness to address any lingering issues from high school, but Sadie seems comfortable moving forward without dwelling on the past. People change and grow, especially after high school, and it's clear that they've matured since then. It's essential to recognize that everyone deserves a chance at happiness, and judging based on past experiences might not always reflect their present reality.

It seems to me like Eve might be jealous of Sadie, she was super hurt by a one time incident which happened AFTER she did things with Sadie’s boyfriend multiple times and wanted to get a reaction out of Sadie. Sadie needs to drop her like a hot potato
Plus it was an ex eve was no longer in a relationship and was in a new relationship with someone else. Sadie didnt cheat with her boyfriend. No yeah me too I’ve have so many best friends or friends in general come and go and it always makes me upset and I think about making new ones but I do lose hope a lot of the time and think that maybe there isn’t a such thing as having a real and genuine friend. Sadie is a Saint. Eve....is probably a narcissist. I'm no therapist however but based on my social media and internet knowledge 😂 she is definitely completely involved with herself. I think she gets more from the relationship/friendship than Sadie probably does. Hopefully she has changed since highschool but the fact that she still kept something to herself after all this time, she definitely slept with Sadie's bf. Sadie is being strong. Someone in the comments mentioned this before, but in 31:12, you can clearly hear Sadie and Eve's heartbeat as they embrace. There is something very powerful going on there, I agree. Though their friendship did have some very toxic dynamics especially on Eve's part, I truly believe that they have real love for each other. Sometimes, people are put in our lives for a reason. And what they have is extremely rare, special, even healing. Hopefully, Eve realizes that she will never have another friend like Sadie.

Spot on. She was humiliated with the ''breaking into the house'' and ''throwing food'' stories. Eve subtly wanted Sadie to stop, Sadie knew this but didn't stop because she also enjoyed humiliating her. However Eve definetely took it to a whole another level of 'revenge' with her cheating story.

Sadie's refusal to hold Eve accountable gives me the ick. It's hard to witness pretending everything's normal when it's clearly not and it's affected them, perhaps Sadie more than Eve. But this constant refusal to hold her accountable could be a coping mechanism? But girly, it's gonna be harder on you down the long road. Hold your friend accountable, and if your friendship is truly strong, i'm sure you'll be able to overcome this. But there's no way this doesn't affect you, evident by the refusal to address the discourse on accountability and what it means for their friendship.

The way I see it is, the relationship wasn’t strong enough to begin with if a significant other is quick to cheat or do anything else. It’s poopy that is was a friend but realistically, that relationship wasn’t going to work. Someone who truly loves and respects you, wouldn’t have eyes for a friend or anyone else for that matter. If my best friend did something like that I’d be very hurt in the moment but I believe I could also move past it because if anything she helped speed up the end of that relationship. Now I have more time to find someone who’s worth my time and effort. Either way, I do agree that it’s a very poopy thing to do. Everyone handles those situations differently. Some still see more value outside of that type of situation, others don’t and that’s when friendships end.
