I don't know if you feel the same way lads, but I can strongly can say, we definitely was 3x better than LIV at this game, yes they haven't used their chances, and we did some mistakes that should have cost us(Pickford saves a day), but we did outplayed them (have not seen that passion and quality against Nottingham), and its not only that we have won, it's about quality and perfection of the game. Passes were incredibly accurate (haven't seen that for a long time), we managed to keep ball after long shots instead of passing somewhere hoping there will be teammate to pick it up, quick thinking, creation of counterattacks- couldn't believe my eyes. Still couldn't celebrate until last whistle! We did it tho, unbelievable performance and we deserved it , that's the best part! Do not want to extend this post, but I am very proud of Harrison , did a great job confusing and outdribbling them, just couldn't keep up to comeback for defence and that was scary at some point, but it worked out, cant complain! COYB

I thought we pressed as a team when it was needed, but left Liverpool to have the ball deep in their half. We also went hunting in packs. Always backing each other off the ball.
We actually got forward and put balls into those danger areas, giving them things to worry about. We were superb. I hope we see this effort in the last 4 games.

Fair play lads. Great stuff from Everton on and off the pitch and only criticism is where has that been all along. You had Liverpool in a headlock from minute one and we were completely overrun. Liverpool city needs two teams so I’m happy about that and when the dust settles never let the blues off the hook again now you see them play. All the best and another red said it on another video - you deserve all the credit in the world for showing up day after day despite all the adversity. By the way it was 29 years ago to the day since Everton beat Bayern. I was at that match as a red supporting blue because that’s what we did in them days. Food for thought when I hear red shite this snd blue shite that.

I agree Mike, I have been watching Everton since the late 60's and used to go to Everton one week and Liverpool the next. I hate the nastiness these days, on both sides. Loved the 80's when both teams were winning things. I was at the Bayern Munich games as well, best game ever.

Was anybody else like me (shitting themselves) when Ashley Young decided he was taking that free kick on the edge of the box and not Harrison when it was obviously a left footed cross into the box, then he ballooned it and so they are going to go and score 2 goals or maybe 3 in injury time and we lose? (PS I know Harrison actually tapped the ball to Young but you know what I mean)
I would have LOVED to have been there watching it but unfortunately too far away so watching on the telly. So I am wondering how many of you had the same experience of when the 2nd half kicked off and about a minute in they were attacking and the television feed went to adverts for what seemed like 20 minutes , but in actual fact was only just over one or two. I was convinced that when it came back on the score would be 1-1 or even 1-2. FFS
I've calmed down now and I stopped sobbing tears of joy about 30 minutes after the final whistle. Still on Cloud Nine though!!!!

Dyche got it wrong against Chelsea. Pressing out of possession against them was obviously the wrong choice but he looks to of learnt from it. I think he's done an excellent job taking into context - weakest squad in years, points deductions, takeover saga. Saying all that, 15 games without a win is not acceptable so he don't get off scotfree. But overall he's done a good job and stability is what the club needs not another rip it up and start again job. You work with what you've got and he's done that.

I agree, the positive aspect of the win doesn’t camouflage the the shite in game tactics, crud substitutions, playing AY continually.
Once teams found out how to play us, we couldn’t win a game.
      Did the manager change anything-No.
If people are happy with that-- Once the emotion of this win simmers down,a true reflection of how crud this manager and team are will resurface.

@@davewoodworth1762 Some Everton fans have deluded expectations. The club is in turmoil and we have been hit with an 8 point deduction. Finished 16th, then 17th surviving relegation by the skin of our teeth.
Dyche has put us on 41 points from 34 games even fighting against the psychological impact of points deductions. He has improved us drastically in terms of grinding out results.
What were you expecting from this season?
If in 2 seasons time we are more stable and he hasn't pushed us on, then he will need to be moved on but at the moment he has done a great job.
