@@tokyosandblaster4623there’s multiple sponsors exemptions to each tour event. The tournament director decided to give a spot to George which is absolutely the right move. He’s proven he has the game to compete and he’s a local player who will bring fans to the event. This is what the PGA Tour is all about, this isn’t anything remotely close to the LIV model of having the same 52 guys playing every tournament. Stories like George and his brother Wesley are what makes the PGA Tour special.
@@tokyosandblaster4623it is truly astounding to me that LIV hasn’t offered Wes at minimum a contract yet. Someone needs to get fired I think it’s that egregiously bad. George deserves it too but AT MINIMUM Wes should already be competing on LIV.

To the PGA: I was not going to watch the Myrle Beach Classic... But now I am. Big respect to the cognizance, and awareness of the a massive audience waiting to be tapped into brought on by CZcams Golf figures. It was not their best outing but I suspect Grant and Micah will step up after this.

George I went through the ringer watching the tournament rooting for ya. The two par saves on the back 9 having chipped out were special, the second putt on 17 also. That spot on 18 was truly impossible and had claimed a few others earlier. Mostly though I simply would like you to read and re-read the comments on here. Everyone is pulling for you not because of your golf but because of who you are fella exemplified perfectly by your sportsmanship at the end of the playoff - you’re on the verge or truly realising your potential and we can all see the sky is the limit.
