In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. This channel was a random youtube suggestion, and I would never have imagined I would enjoy this kind of video as much as I am.
no vídeo apareceu a bandeira americana na casamba, será que o Mike viu ela na hora da caçada da sucatas...
cant believe you left those cases you spanner lol. they were the true value.
Those black cases most certainly have gotten you 5 or 10 bucks each at a garage sale, and there were a lot there. Tut tut tut Mike. You have to Really think garage sale !!! 😘😊🌈🇨🇦
That lollipop was a candle that you light up if you are in your garden in summer at night chilling out
I'm sorry, I giggled when you threw the calculator and the paper unspooled all over. You used my phrase "Seriously?" My kids say that was the one that would perk up the ears of them as they were always sure I had found something they had messed up. 🤣 Like on Meercat Manor 😂😂😂😂😂
Дай мини
I'd be taking all of those padded cases on the double! Perfect for storing miscellaneous possessions and the sort.
People love to buy that stuff garage sale for sure, but get it, if you don’t want to store
He lookin for items he can turn a profit on.
.
@@terrybyrd3738 .
@@terrybyrd3738eeh u would have to find the right buyer for those but if u wanted em new those are easily a hundred bux a pop double locking with the secure hinges u can't just pop out. Good stuff but for sure hard to ship kuz size = price. N thats alot of space to store
You fry my brain..
So much stuff 😎 you dig and dig.. hop all over the place, u r one hell of a person who cleans up after you dig. I pictured you as a blonde haired guy but then I saw your face and your wife is one blessed gal. U r an environmental person who loves the world ❤️🌍.
1:35 Passing up a CPU, distracted by a lollipop.
LMFAO RIGHT i saw the same thing. the gold content on those older chips is pretty good too
lmao i saw that to. If iy was a pentium from 2004 the amount of profit he could have made is rediculose
Bro it was probably broken
Computer memory is huge profit and takes up little space, stock up on it and watch for gold to spike. That stuff sells for $18-21 per lb. It really adds up over time just sayin :)
Did he leave some RAM and a CPU on the floor of that dumpster? Dang
Gold adds up too!
@@dr.a006 , Yes he did.
Now imagine if someone had a few BTC stored on one of those drives
Killing it Mike! So awesome you found that cat, thought it was gone for good. AAOOOO y'all 👍
Grab the strapping too🤯
I laugh at most of the scrapper videos. All about the junk, but never stuff worth a damn.
Hi walter..🌝...from srilanka 🇱🇰 ...
That was hilarious. Toss a calculator. End up, TPing Dottie.

Dang Mike you are getting so good at scraping the dumpster gave you a itemized receipt when ya tosses that calculator in the truck! 😂😂. Good score!
You're looking in the trash in an interesting way. You put together every little wire, but you leave the pc processor and memory there. I whisper, the contact of both of them is yellow because it is gilded.
I had to laugh, Mike is no TECHIE!!!
@@AdamosDad
Yes, he often does not know what the different computer parts are.
⁰
You go get it!!!
Throws the calculator and the tape flies across........:D love it!
What's a scavenger to do? Dig boy! Dig!
Woo Hoo , I love your Energy . I can’t go as fast in the dumpsters as you do, but I do get my stuff . Glad to see you are with all of us on saving from the landfill , keep up the good work and keep on diving. Be safe & God Bless you 🙏🏻❤️🤗 You have a lot of very useful tips & information on your videos , I want to start scrapping but don’t know what to get , so I do retail Dumpster Diving for now until I learn more 👍🏻
Only way to learn is to get started. And watch Mikey
Omg I would have LOVED those cases 😭😭😭😭
hffuggjggkeexbmmmmvgud
all those black cases would go for $5-10 yard sale, flea mkt.
sell them all to a flea marketer wholesale.
Marketed as ammo cases $75-150!
This is the hose that doesn't end, yes it goes on and on my friend. Some people started pulling it, not knowing what it was, and they'll continue pulling it forever just because...
Bro I can’t believe people throw away all these really good stuff and then you come to pick it up it’s so crazy I just like this channel so much
16:15 You take all the strapping tools, but leave the strapping behind? That makes a lot of sense.
Those strapping tools come free in a new box of strapping. What he's actually taken is 15c at best of scrap.
Think he knows his buisness, what he can and can't get rid off more then you do .
@@JJsAdventures777
Learn to be a little less illiterate.
It is spelled:
business, not "buisness"
of, not "off"
than, not "then"
@@shawbros Don’t try to ignore his statement.
@@Yeetius911
His statement is filled with illiteracy. Why do you defend illiteracy?
And in most of these videos, there ARE a lot of people that mention the exact same thing (overlooking a lot of stuff that is of value). With that many people mentioning it, the business *IS* there, Mike just doesn't know it.
You are amazing and creative. Take care of yourself. We love you and follow your adventures
Those cases you left behind are $250 a pop where I live and used to ship camera equipment and test equipment around. I think there were 20 there.....$5000
Even used?
@@joshhaynes4737 Sorry....was working.....yes, even used.
You leave a lot of stuff behind that you can sell for big money..
I have one that o think is bigger my cousins wife works at a hospital. Its foam lined to .I wonder if that's what I got.she said it was for a medical camera or scope wonder if i have one lol..cool case tho .u could use it for alot of things. I love hershel cases. And old trunks/treasure chests style are my favorite. I have a problem with cool boxes I vamt stop collecting them
They're PortaCount cases for respirator fit testing equipment. Could easily be repurposed for camera or other fragile equipment.
All of these "you left this and you left that, what were you thinking?!" comments are really disappointing. What exactly is the point to them? Mike either did not see it, or he made a choice to leave it. I love watching Mike hunt for things and he's taking us along with him, stop being such a backseat driver.
7:16 kills me every time
Yeah, Ima pass on the lollypop. Lmao
That puppy needed some Doggles.
That open top with the poles must have been a sign shop.
People throw the vacuums away because they don't want to clean them.
You'd be amazed at what some women will hover up 🤣🤙
Some people like men...
That’s no joke....I’ve gotten several Dyson ball vacuums and a few sharks that just needed the normal filter maintenance and they worked like they were brand new
@@sandramcnight407 don’t be sexist
I thought i heard Dottie call out "Mind My Head " at 13.34 or was it my imagination ?? LOL !!!
A daywooooooooo lol 😆😂🤣 haven't seen one of those in ages!!
That iMac Mini is still worth a considerable amount of coin today.
It's a mac.... even dead they are expensive.
yeah not a Apple TV
Yes worth thousands
Hope it works

Great scores brother!!! I was on a scrap run the other day and stoped at a dumpster and got basically a whole large trash bag full of electric wires and cords!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Be safe happy scrapping😎😎😎
That wire on top was waiting for you, Mike!
That was a weird lollypop lmao
I like it when you jump in and out
I need to learn how 🤔
Don't forget to sanitizer your hands, Mike
I think he rolls with if it don't kill you it makes you stronger
@@Rollsjr
Exactly 🤛
👍😍👍....
Those cases could get sold for gun storage with some new foam
Winner winner, chicken dinner lol
I get just as excited as you do when I see wire.. fun stuff...
23:49 those cases are worth money if you take the foam out and letting the people that will like them use them for what ever can be put into them.
I wish I can gat my hands on those.
I was thinking the same thing. I agree. He should’ve definitely took those. Taking the foam out and selling them as general use cases would have been exactly what I would have done.
Hey Mike on the bottom of the first dumpster where you found the computer remains is a ceramic gold chip and several other pieces that might be ram. Great video!
Mike be killing when he say THERE GO SOME HOles!! OVER THERE!! 😆
Those empty cases would sell on eBay. Those of us that are shooters, we use the heck out of cases similar to that at the gun range. Ammo horders like those as well.
Great finds great work! So glad for you keep safe and God Bless keep making those finds🤗😁
When I saw he left the 'empty' cases in the dumpster, I started smacking my head. Used for electronics I've seen these go like $40 to $100 Dang it! LOL
what i thought too --- would sell for sure - would make a great fleamarket sell for sure
1:35 Especially that processor. That has gold in it and it could easily sold for min $5 and up to $30 depending of make.
Lil scrappy scrap lol mike you killin me
imagine moving somewhere and you show up with your belongings in one dozen identical black suitcases
1:38 seconds- I see gold! You left it there!
That's a computer processor
@@Splatts103 still gold 🤟
Computer processors as well as almost all other circuits made after 1980 contain gold lines circuit pathways for conductivity. It is very easy to chemically remove. Tons of vids here on CZcams showing how. He left easy money in like six of those dumpsters.
good haul brother man
I like the cart on wheels. Can the hose be fixed and used in a garden? @19: you got lots of clothes lines there.@22: you can make a chair with the pallets. The water bottles are good to start plants, like sweet potatoes
حض
Great finds! Thanks for sharing! As always, WATCH YOUR HEAD! WATCH YOUR HEAD!
Love watching your videos. Love to see all the scrap you get & treasures.
❤️❤️❤️
You missed the American Flag in the open top !!! Was praying you'd go back and see it 🙏
It's a holiday themed paper bag. Not an entire flag.
Stop crying
It had a lanyard on it??
It's one of them what they used to beat on the cops up in DC. Best leave it if you don't want the FBI on yo ass.
That calculator paper roll made me lol
"Whats up noodle?"
I have to say I never thought to greet a pool noodle
I would have taken all those suitcases
A lot of uses for the cases $10.00 each all day long .
You passed that processor when picking up lollipop...
Hi Mike
Well it's about blimming time you had some good luck.
Well done Mike you work very hard for the scrap. 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🐾🐾🤩🤩🆗🆗🆗
The Dumpster dismount... 8.9 New Olympic sport. 🏆🏅
that hose was easily fixable and would of been worth 20x and much as you got for that brass
I really thought you would load upset those cases, garage sale... some good stuff actually thanks for sharing
ngl that calculator paper was funny af 🤣
All that Computer Goodness - ha ! Doggy needs fresh Air - wow ! As You said : it all adds up ! Lots and Lots of Goodies - man - these Dumpsters were soooooo Good to You Tonight - well done indeed !!!! I have a Girl Crush - but will take the Lights instead - ha ! We Love Your Videos and Stay Safe and many Cheers from all of us here in Australia !!!!
Hi Mike those black cases would make good tool cases and you could get a pretty penny for them you should check out the price of tool cases it might surprise you
Definitely should have taken those cases. People would buy those at a Garage Sale for storage.
Guys love to fit there own foam in them to so they can carry multiple pew pews
What is the price of 11
Need to think outside the scrap envelope. You missed some valuable stuff. A few hours spent selling on eBay could have netted thousands there. The cases alone would probably go a minimum of $50 each.
Kept the banding tools but not the band? The kit would have sold for at least a couple of hundred bucks.
"The kit would have sold for at least a couple of hundred bucks."
Not necessarily.
I see some kits (includes strapping tools, 400 seals, 690' strap) for $54 on eBay. (eBay Item # 322410207634 or 401630855204)
Whatever the kit sold for it is money it all adds up in the end I dumpster dive many of times even the pallets I would take we used to sell them for $5 a piece
The black cases was a money maker
Very work!!!!
Ooooow , praise Jesus something good to watch during lockdown in Ireland instead of the crap repeats on tv.
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Good of you to reply mike, i watch all your videos, myself and my brother do exactly what you do ,dumpster diving but nothing doing yet as Ireland is in full lockdown from covid-19.
God bless you and i hope have a brilliant week ahead finding scrapity, scrap, scrap, lets get it.
Should have taken a the strapping supplies. Was worth $$ to a shipping company.
Wow you are awesome to find the scrap metal to the dumpster
Mike is the Best, somtimes the Visitors see more
Yes, I have always found "f" to be very dark indeed! Lol
You took the strapping tools and left the roll of strap.
He’s probably going to sell it and not use it, therefore no need to take the roll of strap.
The role of strap is probably the cheapest portion of that package and it was already unspooling itself so that would have been a mess
That MIP-380 is anywhere from 140-350 $$$ The big clamp = 40-50 $$$... Fuggin score dude and then some...👍👍

dang! I want the pallets to make the glider , table maybe another chair, picnic table there’s lots pallets wooo!
6:10 forgot the aluminum cans lmfao
I thought for a while Dottie was his wife sitting in his truck. lol I just caught on last week it's his truck. :)
Me to
Fantastic
that big piece o pipe made me jump a lil when it hit the ground! haha!
1:35 you forgot grams of gold in the processor.
I was thinking "Dang, finding an entire server (that's what it looks like) in a dumpster? Wait! You forgot its processor!"
'grams of gold'
Чемоданы классные под инструменты
What you just missed in 1:35 is a Processing unit for computers, they can really valuable. It looks like an intel core processor with pin connectors which does have gold in it and can be worth some money.
Finds computer parts put them in truck, finds TVS puts them in truck then parks 15 feet away from dumpster, finds steel pipe in dumpster and says hey let's throw the steel pipe the 15 ft into the truck! Lol!
Honestly one of those empty boxes in the one dumpster was worth more than all the scrap you found all night. But I love the videos and your insane way of diving Mike! Thanks for the ride along bro!
Those are scaffolding poles! That’s good money! Do you ever get moved on by the owners or the police?
That open top with the scaffolding and the shipping supplies was an absolute jackpot!
I’m getting excited all the way over here in the UK 😂
Do you injure yourself regularly? Look after yourself big man!
What’s the best find you’ve ever had?
Thanks in advance for replying to all my questions it’s just so cool 🤙🏻
Those actually were not scaffolding legs or horizontals. I am NCCER+ certified in the scaffold craft and all scaffolding material is modular, and would have some type of connectors that would hold them together and would be noticable on each piece, even if you don't recognize what you are looking at.
Empty cases like that we sell for $40 each in rough shape.
Good Job, Mike .....
Mike scrap scrap scrap 👏👏🎉
Bro, I would have taken those empty cases all day long
Hi eddie oakes...🌝..🤩❤️😍....
Loaded 13 minutes ago and already over a thousand views!! You famous!!
👍👍👍👍...❤️🤩😘...
Good job.
LOL I'm just sitting here thinking that we have all came here to watch a guy pull shit out the trash. Nothing against you Mike the Scavenger. I'm a scrapper scavenger to but damn now we are watching it on youtube. I reckon it's the thrill of the hunt. I was looking at one of your older videos and seen where it said you got busted. Now I haven't watched it yet but I thought once it was thrown in the trash, it's fair game. Why should it matter anyway. We've got a county dump where we have to carry all of our large items to throw it away and man if they would just give me one hour in that dump with an 18 wheeler, there's no telling how much I could get outta there. They have the refrigerators', freezers, washers, dryers and on and on. The old guy that works there is a trip. He gets his pick of the stuff you are throwing away. People throw away these washing machines and these refrigerators not knowing the things you can make just from the electric motors that are in them.
No
Trash is EMINET DOMAIN. Meaning that it is discarded merchandise and fair game.
I think you can return those water jugs. Here in Canada the deposit is like 20$.
Come on, you can't make a dumpster diving flick and not eat the lollipop, that's the whole purpose of it isn't it? Got to eat the proceeds. LOL
I love dumpster diving 😊
I’m telling you Mike, for hoses you need Pruning Shears. Cuts right through like a hot knife through butter.
