What amazes me is how Dimash can emote, even in languages he doesn't speak. This is his first song in Japanese. I do not speak any of the languages he sings in other than English, but the emotions he evokes in me. . . WOW! I've never responded to any vocalist like I do to Dimash.

It’s magical that he can transmit his soul to his Dears. The first time I experienced Ikanaide, I was in tears, sobbing. So beautiful and touching. Never dreamed a voice like his would exist. I suggest you watch the interview with Dimash. A very modest, well-mannered and educated person. Every song of his is a surprise. Sings in different styles and genres, in all octaves. In short, he sings as he wants.

Hey...and another one,cool!Japanese song(by Koji Tamada) and the first time,Dimash has sung in japanese.Recorded in his own Studio for the Tokyo Jazz Festival,due to Covid.Dimash speaks Kazakh,English,Russian and a little Mandarin,but he can sing in over 16 languages(learns phonetically)As impressive as his Range is,he doesn't pay all that much attention to it,he uses what is needed for the song,that's it.
Ave Maria is very special. He has a gift and knows it, but is very humble about it. You will enjoy every song he does. Keep listening. Check out Starmania from 1978 and almost at the end is the song SOS. It is wonderful to hear how Dimash has made the song his own. Brilliant...
Dimash certainly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist, for sure.
Dimash has said he doesn't see his vocal range as the most important part of his talent, but the emotional moments are, for him, the most important part of what he does. He wants to take the audience on a journey with how he interprets a song, and he definitely does that! He loves a song with a true story behind it & this is one of those songs. You probably read the back story of this song, which is quite heart-breaking. He isn't just a singer, he's a story-teller. For another amazing, heart-wrenching performance by him, look for Daybreak from his Bastau concert, & please read the back story before listening to it. This one is truly tragic & Dimash conveys that to perfection.

Like thousands of us that discover Dimash we are stunned by the shear talent and the lane that his has created for himself and millions of his fans who he calls "his dears". I watch at least one reaction video a day of music professionals such as yourself, eyes and mouth wide open on song after song. There is no one on the planet that is in this man's league. I suggest you check out Olimpico and Across Endless Dimensions (either the music video form the movie or his live version with the whales on stage). Love is Like a Dream and El Amor en TI. Then you are ready to buckle your seat belt for the seven minute video of The Story of One Sky which is Dimash's plea for world peace. Then watch him do it live at the Alamty concert. Cheers!

Dimash speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and pretty good in English now and some Mandarin but he says he finds mandarin very difficult but perseveres as he has had great success in China and has many Chinese dears. He has sung different songs in different languages. When he has concerts in other countries, he usually tries to sing a song in that country’s language.

Wonderful reaction. Once you've recovered from the "shock" 😉of the quality of Dimash's vocals, you should also pay attention to the actual music. Subtitles are important, especially because he sings in so many languages. Also, many of his songs have very interesting backstories that are also worth exploring. There is a Chinese version of this Japanese song (Autum Strong) with a very tragic backstory, he sings both versions. Dimash is always emotionally connected to what he sings, and that's why it's so authentic. He also doesn't stick to a certain genre, it's always a surprise what comes next. That makes him unique. For me, he is the definition of a complete artist, he has a comprehensive musical education, he composes and produces himself. Of course, he has great talent, but he has also worked very hard to reach this level of perfection.

A Chinese person reacting to him singing in Chinese said he thought Dimash spoke Mandarin fluently he was totally floored and amazed by Dimash command and expression of Mandarin.

Another great reaction. Ikanaide is in my top 3 Dimash performances as it really shows his mastery over his instrument. I highly recommend Omir, the mood video, available on Dimash's channel as it shows his journey from childhood through being awarded by the Pope, gifted to his "Dears" on his 29th birthday. He just turned 30 at the Instanbul concert in May.

Dimash not only sings in a wide range of octaves but sounds amazing in each of them, sings in various styles while in those ranges with beautiful vibrato and perfect pitch. But above all, these are all his tools that he uses to convey the emotions and message behind the song. This is the song I listen to at night when I have trouble sleeping. It lowers my heart rate, calms me and even when at the end when he hits those high notes, it’s so beautiful that my heart soars with him and am left with nothing but a peaceful, anything is possible feeling. He is known to be a contra therapy singer. His voice has the power to heal.. he is very humble about it when it’s brought up with him in interviews, brushing it off that maybe it’s just people being distracted by his music for a little while, but I know for a fact that just hearing him sing brings on a feeling of well-being.

For me it is all about the beauty Dimash creates with every song, his voice sounds always so pure, angelic, full of beauty and emotion that this is his "unique selling point". I truly don't care about his range or techniques - I just enjoy HIM and what he offers to us in every musical piece, I can just relax listening to him and feel that he is always completely into it, in what he does, in every moment, and I love his dedication and love so much he puts into his musical work.
