@@aab7610 good luck dude, which uni is it for?
Thank you man, I’ve got a few coming, my next one is with Essex this monday !
@@aab7610 how did you do? could you share some qns may be?
@@ajaykhapung5770 Hi, to be honest, generally across the interviews I could have been much better prepared! But thankfully I got a place! I would suggest always knowing why you want to be a physiotherapist and why the university you're applying for. Furthermore to be familiar with the NHS values and how you have demonstrated them in your previous experiences. Reflect on what your core values as an individual and this can be related to how they will reflect on your work as a future healthcare professional. Be familiar with EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) and be able to reason the importance of these principles. Understand current challenges of the NHS and how the career as a Physiotherapist is developing. Utilise previous experiences related to Physiotherapy (STAR examples are good for structure). You may be asked questions related to pathophysiology, dependent on the university. Lastly you may be asked scenario questions, I believe they use this to get an idea about your character, assessing how you manage challenging situations. I hope this helps!
Amazing
GOD Bless brother
Thank you, all the best!
Got my physio interview tomorrow. This video helped massively. Thanks bro🙌🏼💪🏻

@@haadi1098 congrats man! I’ve got my interview (MMI) on the 20th of this month for the MSc. I’m currently working as a physio tech, have you got any advices for me?
@sanjays7819 oh I've just started my bachelors. So idt you need any advice from me😭 but hey good luck tho
Great video, Peter! Thank you for sharing it.
I have my physiotherapy interview coming up soon. I'm a personal trainer, do you think it would be appropriate for me to mention my PT knowledge if they ask about my experience?
Thank you!"
I'm happy to help! Best of luck for your interview!
Absolutley. I think if you have any clinical experience, then that would arguably be more relevant to mention first. However, there are many transferable skills from your time personal training, that would be useful as a physiotherapist e.g. anatomy & physiology, interpersonal skills, exercise prescription etc. Hope that answers your question!
@@petermcadam thank you Peter 👌
Tomorrow is my MSc physiotherapy university interview. Your video is so informative. Thank you

Hey Peter I got my interview for SGUL in 10 days. I've never done a MMI before - what advice will you give me and how can I get in touch for extra support?
I am sorry that I haven't responded to this in time. I recently started work as an MSK physiotherapist so I've been pretty busy with that! When you say MMI, I presume you mean multiple mini interview. Unfortunately because of COVID at the time, none of my interviews have been in that format. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Best of luck with you interview!
Hi1 I have my interview comming up with them as well. could you share how you did?Im new as well to MMIs.
Can I ask what was your path before going into the physiotherapy degree?
Initially, I did a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science and was training to be a Strength & Conditioning coach before I switched to Physiotherapy.
