Merthyr Rocks POV - Bike Park Wales

- We went to Bike Park Wales back in June and I got to ride Merthyr Rocks for the first time but the footage was never released so I decided today to put it out as a POV video so that you can all see what it is about and so you'll know what to expect on your first run.
It's a great techy trail full of Merthyr Tydfil's finest slate that really challenges people that are new to tech, combined with so nice flowy "pumpy" sections this is a great trail for tickling those technical skills without being overwhelming.

Nice session mate, are you using helmet cam or chest?
I had the camera mounted to my chin guard on my full face. As I only use a hero 7 black this helps smooth out the footage massively
@@leemtb since I got my new camera I have not been able to get the angle right with the chest mount…. I’m going to install some thing on my helmet soon. Looks good 🤙
@@mtbridersanonymous9152 when I do use the chest mount I tend to mount the camera upside down and angled about 45 degrees so when you’re standing up off the bike it’s pointing up to the sky. Try that and see if it’s any good for you, I prefer the chest mount view but love the smoothness that comes with the helmet mount
