Specifically this paragraph: “While UX designers focus on individual (mostly digital) touchpoints, Service Designers focus on the full end-to-end experience which may include digital touchpoints - but also physical infrastructure, teams, and things that those teams do ie: processes.”

I am a self-taught service design, fortunately! After tracking it for a long time, looking back, I think a basic tool is very important. If it is not learned well, there will be big errors in the later tools. So please talk about the stakeholder map.

What’s the different between service designer and marketing specialist?
Hi Azmina! I was wondering what does service design look like in the context of working on UX for Audible? Is it more focused on designing for accessibility on the product itself or does it extend beyond that?
Hi Ivy - great question! I’ll give you an example of a project George and I worked on together. We were looking to learn the behaviors of both Audible members and non-members from a holistic perspective, beyond just the touchpoints within Audible. To understand this, we did in-depth interviews. Based on this, we created mental models outlining the goals and journey of our customers throughout the whole process - from before becoming aware of an audiobook all the way to bringing an audiobook into their lives. This helped us visualize the bigger picture and all the possible pathways and touchpoints a customer could hit.
