I have to say having used a pixel 7 and edge 30 fusion, the 30 edge fusion feels miles more premium in the hand maybe it's the matte back that just makes it feel better also the slightly curved screen actually makes the phone feel more manageable
Edge 30 fusion. No second thought. That gorgeous curved display, better speaker output and noticeably faster charging are enough to get the Edge 30 over pixel 7. Not to forget for less price you are getting Snapdragon 888+. It's just a smarter choice

Bro how is the battery life for you? Is it able to last 1 day of normal usage? How much is the screen on time for you?
That curve would drive me nuts the less pronounced curve on the 7 pro is already slightly annoying so a dramatic one would be a deal breaker plus Moto has historically been terrible with updates , the g2 tensor in the 7 pro has been running smoother and better battery than my s22 ultra with the SD gen 1 , moral of the story a spec lost alone doesn't make or break a phone
And shit software updates, ip 52 rating, bugs like auto calling when kept in pocket, song starts playing randomly because there's no auto lock.

You didn't say anything about Motorola ReadyFor (desktop mode) productivity tool which Pixel doesn't offer. It's a huge advantage over Pixel.

Thank you for your insight. I have a Pixel 6 Pro but after a year (and a screen replacement) the battery has had it, so was on the fence about going for the 7 but heard some things about a Motorola phone so will check it out 👍

To me Moto easily beats in Night Photography & Video Quality in Selfie mode as well as back camera mode in comparison with Pixel 7. Pixel 7 gives a red tint in Videography. It's quite evident 🙂.
How did you get different colours from where?
Performance@style@features/price ratio much better in Motorola. Better pics with Gcam on Pixel 7, but ported Gcam installed on Moto will dramatically decrease difference. So, Moto Edge 30 Fusion is the winner. No doubt.

I'd go for the Fusion 10 out of 10. Almost 2 hour time to charge the Pixel is a deal breaker. I can't believe a 6.3 inch screen weighs almost 200gram. My Motorola Fusion weighs 168 is thinner and still has better battery life.
I have been disappointed with the Pixel 7 touch screen response. Very inconsistent and alot of double and triple taps. It is ridiculously heavy and the slow charging is a drag.

Quality content man. 👌 Hope more videos in future. Iam planing to buy moto fusion. My budget is around 40k. Iam not a hardcore gamer. Photo editing and multimedia consumption is my main priority. Can i expect long battery life(more than 1 day) without any heating issues?
Just a question out of curiosity. What disadvantages does one have if his phone gets security updates 3 months later? Does the phone then run slower or accumulate viruses than a pixel 7 that gets updates earlier? I don't really understand how a faster software update puts one at an advantage.
I think that's the biggest misconception when it comes to buying phones. Give me a phone that operates and performs the same after 2 or 3 years with no hiccups and I'm perfectly fine with it.
Phones barely get viruses and it don't matter about security updates when both phones have security chips , Motorola has thinksmart and pixel has something called titan core

Have both devices here and tested. The Edge 30 Fusion is much better. The fingerprint sensor works more reliably. The Moto gestures work more reliably and are more practical than tapping on the back of the Pixel. Better performance, charger is included, photos are almost identical. Pixel is going back or will sell it.

I think, Moto Edge 30 Fusion is a great phone. Sadly, you didn't mention how is haptic feedback. We know, Pixel is great, but what about Edge 30 Fusion? Is it comparable with other devices, like Galaxy S22 or Xiaomi 12 (which in my opinion have very good haptic feedback). Anyway, I think, Motorola's "release-and-forget" updates strategy definitely works against its overall quite interesting products.

The problem I have with Motorola phones is their software support history. They tend to provide updates when they feel like it, and they seldom feel like it.

The pixel is under exposing, making the background of the pictures properly exposed while keeping the main subject darker. Motorola is over exposing, making the background too bright but keeping the main subject properly exposed. The choice is yours but I prefer the main subject in the photos to be properly exposed rather than keeping the background better while keeping the subject darker. Motorola also have premium quality built and display with better dual speakers.
Pixel gives an option to change the background and foreground exposure before clicking on the right side..
Looks like this video is either coming from Google fanboy or this video is sponsored by Google. In some areas I did see fusion beautify things a little bit but otherwise in the camera department from the samples I saw Fusion did a better job of balancing the exposure, stability, colours and overall image looked better in the fusion.
And fusion looks and feels premium, much more than Google. And with its thin design it does not feel like it's etching into my hand rather that it feels much more premium.
Fusion is a bang for buck in every department. Maybe not updates but I don't mind that. And I've played games on fusion not heating issues, 888+has fixed the issues and a thinner phone doesn't mean heating issues, moto is infamous for thin phones and it knows how to optimise them.
Battery life, battery charging speed, charger in box, refresh rate, biggest screen, curved screen, SD 888+, Near stock Android experience, physical service center even in tier 3 cities. Not to mention it comes with a screen protector pre-installed and a back cover in the box. Getting a phone that is future proof makes more sense to me instead of getting a phone that provides dated features and with coming years will only feel old.
Fusion is a bang for buck in every department. Guys make your own fair judgement and use your logic and reasoning and your preferences for buying a phone. Don't trust this review, go through the comments section and find for yourself.

I got the pixel since i had one before, and liked it, but i had forgotten how yellow the display is and how much the colours change when you turn it a little bit 😢Had a Motorola Edge 40 between those and the screen is far better ❤ kind of regret getting the Pixel now, but as you say the camera design and software is better on the pixel 😊 Thanks for good video. Tensor G2 chip is not as the snapdragon 888 please correct that, and the tensor g2 is about a generation later after the 888+, the problem with its performance is that it's fabricated by SAMSUNG, which results in more thermal throttling and poorer power efficiency, the 888+ is also fabricated by SAMSUNG but managed by Qualcomm company which also has very different GPU, the 888 and 888+ has adreno 650 gpu, while the tensor g2 has mali-G710 gpu, such as Dimensity 9000's gpu.
I hope you read again about these precessors and correct your mistakes...

I have the Pixel 3XL and the 2XL. And the 3 is somewhat better than the 2, but some features the 2 has, the 3 has dropped. I personally like a great speaker set. And from what I've seen the newer pixels fall short compared to the 3XL So in my opinion, Google spends more in the camera dept than what a phone/audio video, device is meant for primarily. My opinion. I personally want a smooth running loud clear speaker set, with a great screen. Than a fancy camera with tinny speakers. From even u admit, the Moto, has very smooth performance, larger screen, though only 1080, and I've heard pretty loud clear speakers. With Dolby Atmos . Also. I've found the Moto for 289, US. And the Pixel 7plus is still like 5 and 6 hundred, US. And I do believe Motorola is giving 4 years of updates. .
And as for the batteries. I had a Moto x pure, and now with my 3XL I'm still getting about 4 to 5 hours of screen on time. And though I don't think thats,WOW! Not bad for a 3 year old phone. I like Pixel. But when they dumped front facing stereo speakers, that didn't impress me. I may try the Moto fusion 30. But my 3XL has a 1440 res screen. And it's running android 12. So I will probably hang on to it a while. Good video.

Get pixel 6 pro, there is barely any difference between 6 and 7 but 6 has dropped the price a lot and the pro version costs only 20€ more than normal 6 so why not get the pro with bigger screen.

I really like the Edge 30 Fusion (and also think it's the better phone overall3 if you take in consideration the cameras), but it's crystal clear that it has a mid camera in every way possible. You people lack some common sense fr.

The Pixel does look better, but I will say Motorola's camera software is getting better. I've always noticed even on 4K video taken with Moto phones seems dull, but their cameras are getting better each year so hopefully one day we see better results.
I think the fusion is one of the vest looking phone ive seen in a long time. I just ordered my Fusion tonight. I bought the Magenta color with 12gb/256gb for $399 inclues the bundle earbuds, screen protector, case with cable and usb 68watt fast charger. I looked at the Pixel but i thought its ugly and cost more not to mention i can deal with a slow charge time.
Actually Google Pixel 7 is comparable with Moto Edge 30 ultra considering their price.
