I just came onto this channel amazing I wish he just slowed down a touch just for people who are just getting to grips with fabfilter plugins. It would be great if you could do a old acapella (rnb or something) that needs a spring cleaning to get it to the professional sound I struggle to get it sounding good.... that would be wicked. Or a mastering mixing course, anyhow love the channel 😳

Even when I get my LUFS level where it should be, and the mix is sounding louder, my songs still sound noticeably quieter than all of the mainstream music on CZcams.
master to -8 or -7
Perceived loudness has a lot to do with EQ, dynamics and arrangement since the recording stage. It's hard to get loudness on mastering alone if you didn't get it right since the beginning.
then its the mix.... work on the single tracks

PLeasae sage could you just explain a lil bit what you mean by using the ProQ3 in "Zero latency" to preserve transients? ow does it affect the transients?

Ive just got the fabfilter bundle I would say Fabfilter pro Q and Saturn are awesome, all the others are nothing special your stock plugins will achieve the same results. I'll give the pro g a thumbs up aswell that's awesome and probably the best gate vst out there.

I appreciate the video, the explanations and the results. I disagree showing the improvements of the plugin only in the part of the song that comes after the first part. Indeed, many improvements were not very clear for me. I would suggest to show the improvements on the same part of the song and not a different part. Thank you!

just a question when i mastering my song its good on my speaker and headphone but when i play it on my phone it sound trash.
Getting a track to sound good on a phone is hard, but most masters won't sound full on a phone due to the small/inexpensive speakers.

awesome tutorial. i am in pro l2 and trying to find the channel fader for the output but cant seem to get it to pop up. at 8:48 how did you get that channel fader to pop up? thanks
I had overlaid the recording of the channel fader when editing the video - my mistake! It's not a part of the plugin, but instead the channel fader of the stereo output.

Awesome video! I don't get what's the difference between mid and mono? If mono is a sum of the side and the mid why boosting side in mono doesn't change anything?
Main stream house is around 5-7 lufs. Can you achieve that loudness using this technique?

Hello how can I use this plugin in a choir vocals where vocals are around 50 and above
I have a really annoying issue where it adds like 2 seconds of silence to the track everytime i use it. any suggestions? the music is supposed to loop (which it did before fabfilter pro l2)
