That was awesome. It was nice to see Ossie, Ruby, Melba and the others.
Beautifully told. Thanks Reelback for being steadfast finding great 👍 celebrations. Appreciate Ozzie Davis and Rubie Dee deeply. Janice Harley
This was Good! I love to hear the Elders, Ossie and Ruby speak, they do so with such eloquence🎤🎤
They would have us believe we were never into the arts and storytelling.
Nice to hear there voices again.
I LOOOOOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!!
Very moving and very humbling. I am so sorry.😥
Fantastic! This has the flavor of a theatrical production rather than a film or tv presentation.
Ruby and Ossie my favorite old melanated couple.❤️
And WELL'WELL in just about 28:28 minutes of this evening powerful and "CLASSIC DOC" is indeed in my opinion "FOOD FOR THOUGHT" thank you black first.
A young Melba Moore

Could somebody find the television showing of the play Blues For Mr. Charlie done in the mid 60s!
+DeeNice681 I know Blues for a Junkman but I don't see anything of the Baldwin play. I'll look into it
They would have everyone believing slavery was a "job" or trade agreement
It's such a shame that the audio in this film is so warped. The songs are unbearable, but I am otherwise so grateful for this upload.
Well it is 50-60 years old or more. It's a miracle to even see these old films, and I think that was a young Melba Moore singing that soprano.
@@lorebay2593 Clearly
Great documentary, even with the overt politics
Please some when help, Ruby played a movie I think it was in the late 70, or early 90s, she was living with her sister when they were old remembering when they were young, I try to search for it, but I forgot what the movie was called
Where are the slaves ships and boat at?
0:20 He didn't say African
We were never brought here from no damn Africa!!!!!
Please stop drinking that fucking Jim Jones cool aid man cut out that uncle tom I love white folks card you have in your pocket !!! All People come from Africa Trump too that ass hole.
Kool-Aid* Jim Jones murder-suicide claimed the lives of more than 909 so-called: "black people" who really thought Christianity had something to do with our people - it didn't/it doesn't just like "religion", all of it is pure mind-controlling European trash designed to destroy us eternally from within.
Correction: None of us originated from Africa because Africa wasn't the original name for that continent 500-yrs-ago it was the name of a country! The people of [hue] (subtle shades of brown perfection), unlike or recessive/ genetically inferior troglodytes never "evolved" nor were we descendants of "Africa" or "Africans" all lies told by our oppressors to further push an agenda that's been debunked, and laughed at from around the world.
Trump represent the neanderthal ilk, like the rest of these 6-12" coccyx tail growing lice headed abominations. But, is he an asshole? I'm not too sure.
We Are Hebrew Israelites or YAHUDYM not african, nor black or any of those other bywords.
A lot were
