I love Meslier. Always have. Not always tactically sound but his moments of brilliance (in my humble opinion) cancel out any poor shows for me. Hope he fulfils his potential. Great lad all round.
Props to Iversen who kept Stoke in the game. Getting the clean sheet was just as important as the win to help rebuild our momentum, after not having one for the last two games. Just need to be in Ipswich's slipstream ready to pounce and be wary of Southampton.
Morning Oscar , We were all over stoke for most of the time , in the first half we get the goal from James a good individual goal, Rutter got the assist. We should have been 2 up easily stoke goal keeper , had a brilliant first half. We are not clinical enough in front of goal.
I liked when Joseph came on his is only thought was to go forward , he showed in my opinion he’s ready for a bigger part in this Leeds team going forward. 10 more games to go I believe rotation of players is going to be crucial in the run up to the end of the season

Need to be better against Sheffield Wednesday they've won 5 out of there last 6 games so we need to be on form I'd bring in Gray for Kamara. Joseph looked good when he came on pressure on Bamford for Friday.
No excuses here but tbf Wednesday have only played very poor teams except beating Bristol but there wins have all come at home. My only concern his it's a friend night Derby and form goes out of window I get the Bristol city vibe with this match feeling anxious my biggest concern is dropping points tonight especially with Ipswich been 2 points clear. It's the feeling of a must win again we are due a lose..
Good assessment Oscar. Just feel we need to re-ignite the intensity again. Archie to midfield and Joseph up front would provide that imho.

I noticed one significant disparity between Ipswich's team stats and ours. Leeds goals from outside the box = 4/156. Ipswich goals from outside the box = 9/177. There's got to be a lesson in there somewhere.

The second half , they can at us ,to much defensive play for my liking. We have to stop this negative play through the back four , move the ball forward quicker. Meslier made good saves last night, one from the very last kick of the game.

came here for positivity and found it, people moan about performances like this but wanted them earlier in the season against the likes of West Brom and coventry earlier in the season and in fairness stoke away.

Farke "best win of the season"?. Meslier had to make a cracking save off the last kick of the game to save 2 points in a game which again we should have had sewn up by half time. Amazing how many people cannot see the difference between negativity and honest analysis /critique
@@ianclark9198 fair points ..... and my hopes too for the future, and yes it was 3 points which is what matters. My concern is that in some games where we are dominant, we dont take the chances and because of that there is always the chance that we conceded a goal which costs us points, and i would hate it for us to miss out because we look back at games such as huddersfield where we drop points. And it is usually the poorer teams that trouble us now and there just seems to be something missing - maybe the killer instinct!
