- I use this thing all the time :P The backbone is the best accessory to play on your phones. I had to upgrade and get the USBC version for the iPhone 15 pro max I got but they have other adapters too on their website.

You don’t have to take the case off, you can remove the magnetic holder that the phone fit into or it should have different sizes of the magnetic holder that comes in the box to fit with a case .
He has the version 1….its the version 2 u can leave the case on….version 2 has warzone on the cover
USB-C is the Gen 2
My iPhone 15 didn’t fit with case on. Case is pretty low profile and I tried with both magnetic holder sizes. I haven’t tried removing the magnetic holders altogether, but I’m pretty sure it still won’t fit.
Backbone PS edition is awesome bro
when sideloading eventually arrives and emulation becomes easy on iOS, this controller's gonna sell real fast (assuming other controllers like Gamesir's are still incompatible by then)
I definitely run call of duty on mines through remote play at work , works like a glove !
Does it make your phone get really hot?

The backbone one v2 is made for iPhone works with android USB-C on the box... works with cases
Can you try to use a case? I am wondering if that fits… especially with the connector most cases are thicker around the charge port

Thanks for the video, I just ordered one. I had a quick question though, many of the Amazon reviews said the backbone must be updated via an android device before the iPhone 15 can use it. But it seems you just were ready to go out of the box? I am assuming it works because of the remote play app, and not for iPhone games.
Exactly :) At least that was my experience. The only part I cut from this video is my kids running in the office and some gameplay 😂
I imagine the PS Remote Play app just recognises it as a generic controller that or the controller in the video is a newer model with the updated firmware already applied.
In order to get full compatibility you need to update it with an Android device as the old firmware wouldn’t recognise iOS as it only supported Android prior to iPhone 15

No adapter needed :) just make sure you get the one that is USBC assuming you are using the iPhone 15 max

Your wifi is 2.4ghz and that is lag problem if you change too 5 ghz band is work perfect

Can you use the controller without a a PlayStation? Can you just download app and play mobile on your phone without a PlayStation?
Mobile games yes just no playstion, that being said only games good for is Cod mobile.
These are awesome they just are not durable…I’m on my 3rd device already if u get 6 months out of one consider yourself Lucky

You don’t need the backbone app to connect to your phone :) Just connect it to your phone and then open the PS Remote Play app and you are good to go
And I think this is only for the play station but feel free to try it out and let me know if it works for any other apps. I don’t really play other app games other than this with my PlayStation.
It doesn’t seem to connect to my PlayStation unless I’m using the same WiFi I dont understand the point of this one because what if I wanna use it on the go I saw a friend using one on the iPhone and he was at the hospital not sure why in this one I can’t seem to use it unless I’m on the same network as the PlayStation which is pointless why would I wanna play on my phone if I have my ps5 in the same house 😂

Have this one don’t use it though. I feel the buttons are to small and the fact it’s your phone any txt, phone call, notification messes up the experience
Definitely a phone accessory. You can turn your data off or set to DND and give that try if you feel like it’s taking away from the experience. But that’s kinda what you sign up for. This is phone accessory, not a PlayStation Plus only accessory ya know?

The backbone app isn’t actually necessary to use it. Are you using the Ps Remote app?
One of the lenses scratches the actual device, I got the black one. Also, I think we need the adapter 🤦🏼♂️

Exactly 👍🏽 This isn’t because of Backbone though, that’s just because of the Ps Remote app. Is there a way to do it without WiFi that you’ve found?
@@shotsbykaiel honestly no I couldn’t find a way even tho my iPad has 5g but I saw a video pa remote play port forwarding I think he said it works with mobile data if you follow his method but it looks complicated
