I'm putting this in a completely serious final presentation about the Koh-I-Noor diamond because my class really needs to lighten up at the end of the day. Thank you BBC for taking 3 minutes away from my 20 that are needed for this presentation.

The thieving magpie is indeed the perfect song to go along with this. Moffat and Gatiss nailed the second season, especially this episode.

The Thieving Magpie (by Rossini) is one of my favorite pieces of music. Also some fans refer to Jim as the Magpie.
Maybe that is why I love the character of Jim Moriarty so much. Magpie was my first online user name many years ago. And my twins were Heckle and Jeckle online too.

the music is called the thieving magpie ,because there are hidden magpies all throughout Sherlock (search it up). Moriarty's seal is also a picture of a magpie and the wallpaper at John and Mary's wedding

Aiden Pierce uses hacks to be a tech savvy vigilante in Chicago. Moriarty uses hacks to orchestrate and execute one of the most beautiful scenes in Sherlock.
