- RIP Prince.
I went to six concerts of PRINCE in Holland, the first in 1987, the last in 2011 (nightconcert at NSJ). In 2013 he appeared during the performance of Larry Graham, one of his inspirors. He was so humble during this performance. I'm glad I was there to see him for the last time (and to make this film). I'm sad I will never see him again. His music was and will remain so important to me. - Hudba
Prince only on stage briefly but he still steals the show. The presence this guy had was unbelievable there was no other like him. A massive loss he has left us all.
Skygazer Prince was wearing his flip flop wedges! He always seemed happy when he played with Larry Graham & 3RDEYEGIRL
the thump& pluck. .u can totally hear it. u want to learn how 2 play BASE or guitar or both. I mean really learn/ Study Larry Graham, Prince, MONO neon, Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santana, BB King
Nickwestbass.& RiCk MAy..My picks...I know some other great guitar out there too many 2 list .Study& learn..Develop your own ..Peace& 💜 purple fam
I like how Prince just played back and respected the groove,
that's a true musician.
+Phillip Hopson, oh yes indeed! When he showed up to play with others he didn't get all egotistical and try to steal their spotlight.
he was amazing.
he hated when people jump over the cliff and take over the groove. He stays in the pocket. He calls it "respecting the music".
@@randymonster4105 That's right.
@@MINIMOTOMADNESS Love that Big smile on his face!!!
What respect Prince gave Larry Graham.
The Godfather of the Bass...
Man it brings tears to my eyes to see two LEGENDS playing on the same stage. Doing their THING !!!!!! Thank you...
I miss Prince so much it feels like. A piece of me went with him we lost a wonderful musician I will always love u Prince always will be my celebrity crush always and 4 ever 😘😢
I know how you feel
Mario van holle hopefully when I go to heaven Prince will hug me I always wanted a hug from him if I'm lucky a kiss to
I want that too 😉
THAT WAS A BAADDDDD MAN!!!!!! R.I. P. PRINCE!!!!!!
To bad this wasn't the year that Sly Stone was at North Sea. That would be really Awesome. Prince R.I.P. and thank you for bringing the funk to the 80s and 90s. 🙏🏽
RIP to a master at his craft... we love and mss u Prince the Artist
Prince was a real Humble Person once he outgrew his , Bashful stage. Everyone seems to have Genuine Love & Respect for him.......R.I.P Prince !
Humble and taking a less presence & playing with Artists is what made him BEYOND. LOVE & RESPECT.
Two LEGENDS on the stage! Larry looked happy as hell every time Prince popped in!!
Larry is so awesome. As a child he was my inspiration.
For you kids Prince was honored to play with Larry, Jedi Master of Slap Base and Founding Father of Funk. Sly and the Family Stone was a major influence on Prince.
And yes Prince was a highly underrated guitarist.
its like Larry Graham lost a son and we lost a friend but its good to know we still have his music.
He was never Larry Grahams son.
RIP Prince. True artist
Prince's presence graced that stage!
yeah and most of this audience said - Who the fuck is that AFRO Guy ?
***** He played that festival 3 nights in a row. They know him.
Whistler4u
ive noticed that people who enjoyed NJ Festival werent interested in Prince concerts - i was there in 2011 , actually i came to see that last concert on Sunday / Monday
***** That's generalizing. Many who go to NSJ also like Prince. Many also don't.
:-) , true
True Master! Didnt overplay his hand but complimented the grove with his beautiful colours
This was absolutely the best concert I ever experienced at NSJ and that was even before Prince and Santana joined the stage. Midway during the concert there was some very distorted bass heavy jamming that alienated half of the audience who then left to see other things. And then Santana got on stage and then Prince. Whoopsie. I can still see the disappointed faces of the people that missed it.
Seoul,Korea........Nice funky groove......Excellent bass rhythm touch.... Always playful.Larry Graham stage costume with white and blue feathered hat is very nice......
Rip Prince. Genius. All time great.
Prince and Larry so fab here. They brought out the best in each other....so cool 💜
PRINCE WAS THE BRUCE LEE OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, HIS ART WAS THE ART OF
PLAYING WITHOUT PLAYING. A MASTER AT HIS ART LIKE BRUCE WAS A MASTER OF
HIS ART.
+paul vonk Awesome analogy wow great insight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why the capitals ? We can hear you loud and clearly :-)

Loved The Concert With Prince Appearance RIP!
Coming to UK in July The baddest bass player! Larry Graham
It's beautiful to hear and see this performance. Sad when people don't have kind things to say. So much music today do not reflect the love and respect as the music back then. Glad to have memories and precious times like these shared.
still looking for footage of Brother Larry having something other than a good time!
Mr Graham IS funk and soul!
Eindeloos afgespeeld (opgenomen destijds), en zo ook Prince.....dito. The funk music...mooie opname
THEY ARE DEFINITELY JAMMING!
... as usual playing for the pleasure. He's there on stage for having a good time without big head. RIP Prince

I was a couple of meters behind you and it’s absolutely made my day to find this video as you panned round to my beaming face just before Prince plugged in his guitar! Thank you so much, great memories

BAD. ASS.
All age groups are there. Having fun, singing and dancing.
SUPER!!!
Dat Prince langs kwam, is een kers op de taart, maar het gaat hier om LARY GRAHAM. He's looking GOOD!
Ja, ik ben ook fan van Prince, maar in dit optreden is duidelijk te zien dat hij hier niet de hoofdrol in wil nemen, uit respect voor Lary Graham en daar heb ik weer respect voor!! Just ONE FAMILY!
Very nice work Peter! Thank you! Any1 that got to see these cats was @ the right place @ the right time.☮
He could really lay back and just enjoy playing
Prince, the best of the best
thank you for the video man, what a surprise. I first saw Prince in 2012 at his Welcome to tour, and I saw his Piano and a microphone Feb this year, still couldn't believe he has gone. so sad
Australia? Piano & A Microphone bootleg from Sydney has already been released :)
John Arundell yes, melbourne : ) the bootleg of the whole show? where can I find that? searched on google, only few on Tilda.
Lumibug Lucky you! I didn't even know he was here believe it or not :/ since found out that the announcement, sellout and shows all happened within about 12 days. 'Sydneyapolis' is a 4-disc set comprising the complete early shows from both Sydney dates and partial late shows from both Sydney dates. Good to know it exists in high quality apparently but the release was limited to about 500 initially on Eye Records and is crazily expensive at over $200 currently .. I'm still considering it because I would've probably paid that to see him anyway, and due to the historic nature of the recordings now. You can also get Paisley Park from January, 'Californiapolis' from Oakland in March, and Atlanta from April. I found them on Discogs, already ordered Paisley Park (reasonable price) and Oakland (expensive 3-disc set) but also found cheaper versions of Sydney and Atlanta at another site which I might gamble on possibly being the same recordings .. that site was called iOffer. The setlists for each Melbourne show are on setlistfm but that's about it. Did you go to the first or second night? Would have been amazing in that intimate environment for such a legend digging deep into his back catalogue.
with their bad ass selves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Larry Graham goes so hard and how fuckn kick ass is it to see him and his band have no other Than Prince Jam the Jam with them. Fire
Thanks for uploading this. Larry Graham...wow.
so. much. fun.
There was such joy in his whole being,..music was his passion. how he shared his genius so willingly and humbly. RIP Prince., gone way too soon.. You are great, and always will be.
prince is a icon in my eyes.
I love Prince's custom psychedelic Vox HDC 77 guitar.

Thank you for the video man. Thank you for the video.
Ik heb hem gezien! So cool!
Prince is one of the best guitar players in the world. He is the only one who could call Eddie van halen overrated...
Two of my brother
What's with all the hate towards his wife. They were having a good time.
Prince and Larry Graham two of the greatest
u ho Brother Graham
Larry Graham can't even compare to Prince...
unimportant remark
Very unimportant!!! Larry Graham has a resume that will make your head spin starting with playing with James Brown! Prince highly respected Larry and thought of him as his big brother. Lets not forget Sly and the family stone and the funckadelicis!
Belinda J no but he's best side kick he's had.best band 3rd eye girl and miss Alicia Keys
Prince himself said that Larry Graham is the best bassist of all time in his book... eat that up!
Belinda J but Larry loved Prince and Prince loved Larry 💜
Billboard's too ;)
Haa Haa I was there!! Thanks for the vid.
The only badness bass player ever Larry thump and pluck Graham and can still sing with that ever sexy deep voice oh my he dose something to me when he sing ooh yeah
10.40 Brothers of FUNKKKKKKKKK!!
Why watch 15 minutes??? You don't have to watch if you don't want to...or is this the story of your life?
love Larry! and Prince! ...yes, the wife was annoying.
sure you're right, enough said.
GCS
Stevie Vai and Satrianni very good players ! Randy Rhoads , Buckethead, Jason Becker.
what's sad about this song, is Sly Stone wrote it and sold the rights to MJ and now Mike's gone and Sly is homeless. Now Prince is gone, Wish Larry would give Sly a lift.
+Phillip Hopson I thought Sly didn't want any help. He lives in a camper in my neighborhood and from my understanding, he's too far gone on the drugs. But who knows?....
It's just hard to believe a stone cold talent as such could end up with nothing or no one, yet people still profiting off his ideas and creations. But there's nothing you can do when a person has given up. Ill pray for Mr. Stone and will continue enjoying his music. Family Affair!
+Rodney Allgood I had read that too, but just recently (Dec 2015) see that the decision was reversed as Sly had handed those royalties over for 50% ownership in a production company, so he was not entitled to them. He is certainly not the first musician who has ended up in dire straits because of spending their life earnings on drugs. Very sad.
That Was So Funky, It Was Stanky! RIP Prince Rogers Nelson
Brasil volte os olhos pra Deusssss
I didn't know he was Drake's uncle!
