Thank you for EV talk & we, Nepali should drive environmently friendly vehicles. Like many2 others, EV is my choice. Nepal govt should jointly develop EV or at least some parts & NEA should install charging station every 100 km if pissible 50km. EV maker should bring buses & trucks.
I would advise Nikeshji that you carry out realtime test i.e range, practicality, off road driving and also 3-5 years old RVs. More importantly please have your show name like : 4 wheel, Himalayan Drive, Everest

@@GothaleKanchoAnd EVs will have more than half the value. Have you ever had experienced selling your dead lead acid battery of your inverter? You would get about 20-30% of the new batteries value and that also for lead acid not lithium ion. EVs will have much less wear and tear due to much less movable parts so the resale value would definately be more than 50% in next 5 years. Try to buy three year old Nexon EV vs Nexon Petrol, you will know or try to buy any 5 year old EV such as Kia Niro, Hyundai Kona. In Nepal, EV had 60% adoption rate for new 4 wheelers last year and would be increasing in the coming years. Petrol cars resale value would most likely collapse anytime within next 10 years due to less demand like how features phones demand crashed during 2010-2013 due to less demand.

I think you could buy a Toyota Hiace with this price and fit 16-18 people inside. Although petrol/diesel refilling would increase maintenance cost but atleast it has more ground clearance. Not to mention, Hiace or similar vehicle is much much more practical if you're a public vehicle company or you're involved in hospitality sector. Oh not to mention the battery degrading over time and extremely high cost of battery. There are lots of down sides to electric vehicles which I didn't mention but you can find online.

Baru, 0.39 crore ko Dolphin liye EMI tirna ni pugne ani accidents huney risk ni low due to ADAS system and also fire risk pani much lower than petrol cars due to blade battery tech. Further, 20 years or 7lakh KM samma dhukka le 6000 charge and discharge cycle bhako LFP chemistry ko reliability.

comedy nagarnus na Ioniq sanga compare garera. Eg, LG is much better brand than Oneplus but Oneplus phones are better. Brand matra herera bhayena ni, gadi pani equal level ko hunu paryo ni. Seal is next level anywhere globally, Ioniq 5 that’s is currently available in Nepal at 1.04 crores is not even close to BYd seal apart from it being a Hyundai brand. It was a good car in 2020 but now much better cars aayo. See any international review. Seal has about 2x more power, 8kwh bigger batter, L4 autonomous driving and ADAS, LFP chemistry batteries, better ground clearance than ioniq, power tail gate, much better infotainment system with Snapdragon Gen3, OTA updates, a decent drunk space which is expected in any car we buy in 2024 and Ioniq 5 lacks all of these. Heck even Kia EV6 lack all of these. There’s a reason why BYD became number 1 EV maker in 2023 and Hyundai is not even number 5.
