wow pocket fours flops quads, crazy to see that hand win tbh
Lmao
AND aces to quads too..
I just flopped top boat with pocket 9s on a 9 2 2 flop. Betting is mediocre until the river in which i make a bet and i get raised and another guy goes all in. I obviously call this with a boat and lose to pocket 2s. So sick. This was today.
@@joshbrigham942 nobody wants to hear your bad beat stories.
@@smalltowndowntown9199 maybe not you but some people do in the almost 8 billion people on the planet.. ya think? i know i like hearing bad beat stories.
This man had beers waiting for a victorious friend. Respect. Cheers! 🍻
I've been following your blogs since the beginning..and this one tops the cake.never having played in one prior..u did great.. your presentation is unsurpassed. PLEASE never stop sharing ..yours is the only blog I watch faithfully
Welcome to live tournaments. Don't get addicted like Rampage!
I hate them even more now
@@s_f9972 Boski reminds me of Lex-O! Honest poker, didnt see any strip clubs yet though...
@@sinnerglass Lex lifts.
@@MarianoPoker learn how to play them. Most cash only players usually don’t do well at tourneys
@David Thompson very much seen the opposite. Cash players always tend to do relatively well, especially in early stages of tournaments and know how to navigate hands postflop.
Tourney players in cash games, on the other hand, tend to do poorly, mainly them thinking their aggressive style can work in cash too. Very rarely do even WSOP winners ever perform well in cash games.
ngl I got worried for a moment at the “10 minutes later…” transition HAHA
Me too!
It's still a dream to play the main event for me!!
Thanks for this, you make a lot of people imagine their dream come true!
“Some guy in a suit tells me to put my chips in a bag…” 😂😂😂😂😂
TCH Dallas loves having vloggers come and you already know the TX action is insane
Always enjoy the content. Win or lose, you have a positive attitude.
I really appreciated your insight into the "feel" of this tournament. Thanks!
A big thank you, it was a real pleasure. But tournaments are different. You cannot put your entire stack in danger with only one pair. I hope to see you in another tournament soon!
Loved that Content..always wanted to play the Main Event and this was a great view into whats involved
Good sixth sense on the J 9 Hand!! Impressed. I would have value owned myself
Hey Mariano, big fan of these longer vlogs rather than just going day by day! I like to see a good amount of progress, GOOD LUCK!
oh thanks god, another one from Mariano. I love it
I was looking forward to this blog I was hoping you would play the main…. From my research the first day is the toughest because of the blind levels, you have to be uber patient and a lot of people aren’t used to that and they get chipped down from playing to many hands…
Glad to see you made it out of day 1
Watching you now about 1.5yrs the same time i learned of Texas Hold'em, been fun watching your highs and lows, but you stuck at it, learned from your mistakes, and never let other players push you around, your also a respectful player like the OG's of the game,RIP MR Bronson, and best of Irish luck too you for the future ☘️🇮🇪. 🍀
Great job Mariano! Love everything about your content! Thanks!
Absolutely top notch per usual! Thank you for taking us along for the ride!
Nicely done. Cool to see your progression over the past year+
Great video as always, thanks for your efforts on keeping us donkeys entertained.
Thanks Joseph
Awesome 👏 fun, entertaining, education, felt I was as there at the table. Loved all the vids 😍
Great content dawg such good quality !
Great perspective on playing wsop main event. I guess i will just have to play thru your experience as i don think i will ever pksy myself. Great video, you have the chops to be a good tournament player.
I’m clueless when it comes to tournament play especially with the WSOP. I think you did pretty well as a first time entrant into the tournament, and luck was on your side in a few of the hands that you posted. The whole experience looked quite exciting. I wish I was in attendance. Maybe I will sometime in the future. Great work Mariano! You have nothing to feel ashamed about.
Great video. Lot of fun to see what it is like on the inside. I’m glad you enjoyed your experience. Since you’re not a tournament player would you want to sign up for the main event again? Or was this a one and done?
Great 👍 as every poker player should taste once in life time for WSOP tournament. Good luck
Thanks for sharing the ride
Aloha Mariano! Appreciate you sharing this experience with us. I know the next time around you will be ready. Good luck to you and hope to catch you at a meet up game sometime in the near future. Take care.
For a guy who doesn’t play tournaments, you did well.
Disagree. I like his vlogs and he seems like a good guy, but he splashes around way too much for tournament poker. He's too used to playing wild cash games.
Well he made it a lot further than some of the professional tournament players. I would suspect if he studied tournament play, he would do well.
@@marcuspaxton5427 the amount of time you last in a tournament isn't indicative of skill. Phil Ivey could flop the nut flush and get it in against a beginner with a set and lose his stack by the river through no fault of his own and no skill on the part of the other player. That's the nature of tournaments. Luck is a huge factor. But you can tell Mariano has some leaks from his cash game experience and I'm sure he will work on them and improve if he wants to.
@@bonethirsty 85% of the entrants did not cash . . . .
I enjoyed the content Mariano, as always. Thanks for entertaining the ones who aren't able to travel to Vegas yet. Maybe next year? For most people (excluding the likes of Negreanu, Greenstein, Brunson, etc) there is a clear difference between winning at cash games vs tournament games. It is clear you are a cash player, but I love it that you still do a vlog on a tournament just for the entertainment value. You played fairly well over all in my estimate of the hands you showed. A little bit splashy for a tournament, but overall not too bad. Keep up the content.
Great run. Thanks
I'm literally at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida in the Guitar Hotel room watching your video. Come here this weekend and play poker. The poker room is nice here.
8:16 So you turn trip aces, you made a good check. The 8H on the river. What a fold! I probably would have reraised him! Nice!
I have been Waiting for this vlog! Too bad the result couldn't have been better for Mariano. But well done! You gave us the WSOP Main Event experience that we were excited to see you participate in.
Side note: This would have been a perfect 100th Vlog. But maybe Mariano can ship a tournament for the 100th.
Good Job and Good work!
Flopping quads 2xs in the wsop main! Are you kidding me! What a dream!!!!!
Best tourney advice given to me a while ago... tight is right! For $10k buy in, them suited connectors and calling 3bets was your weakness. Only adjustment I'd make would be to fold to their 3b and wait for another chance to play tight and aggressive. Your welcome for that unsolicited advice. Lol happy holidays!
great video man
Thanks for sharing!
Well played, Mariano. The main event has always kinda been a dream of mine, but man. You really have to run good throughout the whole thing. Seems daunting!
Heck yeah!! Mariano you did good. Remember some of us live our poker lives through you.
Good luck! hope you win it !
Damn man I wish you would’ve studied a bit on tournaments before this instead of just feeling as if you weren’t gonna make it far😂
You’re a great player so who knows how far you could’ve gone. I will say I think you were a bit loose with some of your opens, and you 3 bet a little too much in some weird spots. Awesome vlog as always🤘🏻
I've been telling him this for a year. His poker skillz are pretty freaking sharp.
GG brotha, see you out there next summer
Good run! Can't wait for my first main event
Top quality vlogs, every time…
Best video yet..... love your cash game videos, but I've never seen anyone stream any tourneys, let alone main event. I was knocked out in day 2 as well lol. Well done man
Love me some tournament poker! 👍
Great video as always! Not that you need or even asked for an advice about tournaments, but I think you've played it as a lot good cash game players would've: great with 100bbs + (cause its your confort zone anyways), and with 50bbs, 40bbs, 30bbs and 15bbs like it is the same 100bbs game, and unfortunatelly it hurts a lot in a tournament, even the ones with that kind of structure. Anyways, it was nice to see you playing it and I hope you have a better run next time. Keep up with the awesome job!
Nice fun sweat! Thanks
It was pretty cool getting to play with my CZcams heroes at the main event of the World Series of Poker. I was to your direct right at the end of the first day.
Love the Chemtrails in the sky.
Great job, man.
I would've bet around a 1/3 sizing on the river with 9 7 like 2500 not sure you would've been called though mixing in some checks on that board is fine because the river completed the straight.
Come out to Minnesota December 2-12. It’s the Mid Stakes Poker Tour at Canterbury, should be a good time.
A for effort my man! Good job
Just thinking the last time i cheered an Argentine i was in school a Christian brothers school, you had to say a prayer at the start of every class,a few brothers and teachers had started to dedicate our prayers to the Argentinian forces that they would have a swift victory in the Malvinos Islands 🇮🇪🇦🇷
I enjoyed this quickie run in the 10k tourney.
Seemed like all the fun was done the 1st day
..all business from then on..thks for the free ride mario.
Or Mariano.. whatever
Good effort man
Congratulations you did good
He's back!
You played very well
hey Mariano, a little study next year might get you in the money or even final table, :-). Always rooting for you bros!
great vlog. it would have been awesome to see you make a deep run. Maybe consider more tournaments in the future as you can obviously tell they can be pretty soft. I mean Rampage keeps winning them lol
Almost a good comment
“I raise from early position with qj off.” Save that move for when you have 200 bbs not 40.
Thats exactly backwards
yea when youre short you want big cards not 76s or hands that take 3 streets to realize. Offsuit broadways play worse 200bb deep than 20
bruuuuuh why did i stop the video right when that hand happened to post a comment about it but see that you already have the top one lmoa this poker was hard to watch
@@kstyle1343 probably should find some big cards to raise with then instead of Queen Jack
great video!
Hey I was wondering what type of drone do you use?
Unlucky, some of tough spots. You did well.
Hey, not too shabby M....I AM a regular tourney player and I was unable to make even day 2 in the Reunion and Colossus event, so kudos for you and for having a great time...keep up the good work!
Wow great instincts
You are a calling machine Mariano !! 😅
Wish you would have tightened up after you hit the 100k mark. Anyway, I think for a tournament amateur you did fairly well. I saw an interview with Mike matusow and I think he's on point with it, but he said a lot of players mistakes in the main event is that they should fold most of the spots where they know they're behind, and only have a draw to improve, because the structure moves so slow that you'll almost always find a better spot to put their money in.
Love to see you come to New England, visit rampage's home turf, probably be some snow, so skiing if you're into that, I'm sure Ethan could show you a good time, probably pay for everything too, 😂
Lol I haven’t made quads twice total the past year and Mariano out here making them twice on day one of the main
Interesting small room

Go play on the Hustler live stream. Seems pretty soft 🍬
2:53 "flop" lolol
Come to the reserve in Toledo Ohio and play their $5/$5 Round by Round game. Mix in some 4 card
Super fun to see you playing tournaments! Why don't you play the main event every week?
Nice shot of the chemtrails over Vegas.....now back to the video!
Which drone do u have?
44 is my fave hand in poker along with JJs... I was in div 944 in bootcamp... Any1 that's been thru US Navy bootcamp is familiar with "900" divisions in recruit training... Numbers are so intriguing...
Then a K turned on 4th street... Very fun hand
How about a meet up at Hard Rock in Tulsa?
Rampage poker,Brad Owen,Mariano these guys move up so fast,Trooper and pokerkraut still stuck in 1-2.
The level one plays at doesnt matter, it's the same game with the same odds.
I wished you call the cards what others have, after a river check bet ..well anytime see ops cards
Weird stuff happens in the main lol.....I hit quads four xs in the first two blind rounds of day 1, but never got any action
Come to eagle pass tx
3:31 BANG!
So many quads.
10:06 - they're talking about the aggressive showing of cards heh
👍👍good Job
if you come to chicago come to join our game. a lot of fun.
Great 👍
You're awesome, bro.
Mariano, When you play more tourney’s you’ll realize there is a lot more B’sing than in a cash game. When you have a good hand or top pair you got to give it the gas. The classic example is when you let your opponent see a free river and he caught his 8 to trip the eights. If you would have put in a healthy bet on the turn he would have folded and you could have scooped that pot. Good 1st big tourney! You
Come to Blackhawk CO for a meetup game!
'Dont punt your stack'
'Run Good'
Hahaha
I only got to put my chips in a bag twice, it’s such a good feeling to move on to the next day 🥺🥺
How did your hand with A J suck when you got 3 of a kind with A’s
Overall, I think you played well. One thing about tournaments is those chips are way more valuable than chips in a cash game because you can’t top up. But when you get down to it, it’s still just poker. Tournament grinders are just a different breed.
