The new Mac Pro will be a module for the existing Mac Pro chassis. Users can keep their investments and only buy a motherboard swap, or maybe it will be an M1 Ultra board as addition to the Intel motherboard. If it will be in the form of additional Ultra boards, then the user can plug in multiple. Just my guesses.
Mac is usually used for professional work like video editing. It may not game, but editing videos on a Mac is hella smooth. So at the end of the day, it’s all preference on what you really need
