I feel your frustration, Ross I’m from Clarksville, Tennessee and last year. We was hit by a devastating tornado the powerlines on the on my side of town got caught in the tornado. We were without power for a couple of weeks some people more than that
When Valdosta, Georgia got hit by hurricane Idalia last year on August 30, it was exactly the same exact way. We were without power for three days and those were the most miserable three days of my life becauseb I had to watch my movements because I couldn't charge my wheelchair. They are still cleaning up some areas of Valdosta. I am very happy to hear that your power came back on Buddy!!

I thankfully lost powe only for a day at my apartment complex but centerpoint isnt the blame here. Its ercot and the people who didnt prepare for the storm from the higher ups. Alot of centerpoint families were also affected by this and alot of people came from other states to help get us power

I remember one Christmas I didn’t have Power for 3 days this was when I was living at my old house and yeah that was caused by a winter Atlantic storm that blew through and we have had our fair share of storms and mad weather which Ross is worth checking out as your going to be very very Surprised at what kinds of weather we get over here in the UK
The electric going out sucks. We got ours back the next afternoon. I've been in places during storms where the houses around my street had power, but we didn't. I don't know how this technical stuff with the breakers and grids work. It's crazy how it's like a checker board sometimes. One house has it, the next doesn't, and so on. One time I was like "the electric bill got paid, right?". My job didn't get theirs back for two days. That store felt like a sauna. Nearly took my break in a freezer.

My power is still out but hopefully it will come back on today. The eye of the storm hit my neighborhood really bad since last Sunday. I literally had to sleep in my house without power for a few days without any power or a generator. So I found a family member who would take me in for the time being. The power going out was worse than last year. Centerpointenergy keeps delaying the time when will they fix the power on every part of Houston. I'm glad your power came back on Ross.

In my Senior year in high school in Florida back in 2005, we got hit by 3 consecutive Hurricanes 🌀 and I was out of power for a whole month. We missed so many days of school that we had to go to school on President's day while everyone else was off of School. It got that bad. I'm glad you got your power back and you are doing good

I use a different electrical company where I live, but how things are set up with them was aggravating to me as well. Somehow half of my apartment complex got their power restored three days before mine was restored.

It DOES take a while to get power restored after a hurricane. I know because I've been through Hurricanes Bertha and Fran when I served in the Marines. Glad you got your power back and praying for the people STILL without power.
