What do I do if i pulled the spring out of the handbrake and now the parking brake is stuck up

I found a handbrake handle like you installed. Where in the world do you find the release buttons?

i just did the e brake swap like this and no my e brake wont pull up properly, it wont click everytime like before, it takes a few tries, the cable nut is completely tight, i dont know what else to look for, i did it just like this, just pulled off the rubber one and put on the carbon one, can anyone tell me what this could be?

So once you heat up the glue and took it off did the new e brake stay without the glue on it?
