@MotorsAndThings FWD cars have a weight bias bonus (advantage) in hill climb, actually, particularly in corners and braking, as long as they get enough down force (hence this beautiful, hideous monstrosity).

Try a manual if you never driven one, definitely a new experience. I had the civic wagon 1.5 auto then moved up to a Nissan 2.5 manual , it had low pro tires and an OEM front strut bar though it was a bit heavier than the Civic.
i've had a civic 5th gen( base model with d15) and drove it for 2 years without any maintenance (oil change only) and did 40k with no problems at all!!! now that i don't own a honda i still dream about owning such a car that i can just drive without any issues and have this "gokart" feeling
definitely. but I got to have my hood scoop that don't take any air in.... i still believe it ads totally like 50 hp. ok ok maybe 46 hp.

Its not perfect to some. But, for me this is something that is a testament you can build on a budget and keep up with the big boys. I really hope this civic can do Pikes Peak this year that would be rad.
