- One of the most successful cars ever in many types of Motorsports, the different iterations of Mitsubishi´s Lancer Evolution are also a a proper weapon on Hillclimb Racing, and through the years we have featured a number of Monster based on the Iconic Japanese Machine.
These are some of the very best featuring some of the fastest Hillclimbers outright on their respective Championships, from the Swiss units (Schnellmann, Kessler and Bratschi), the older and more mechanical ones (Beres, Lambrou and Holzmann), to the fully spaceframed unit of Sloan Cox coming from New Zealand and some more surprises. The list goes like this:

First Evo it's 'eating' the hills like yams
Yeah man, everything else was way too overpowered. You can see the drivers' reluctance in sending power. Beres OTOH was using all 550 hp to carve those corners.
They're all great but that first one has such charisma.

Really enjoyed the drivers of the 1st, 4th and 9th Evos. Full throttle and just ripping the turns with drifts!
The other cars didnt drift because better aero, doesnt mean worse drivers lol

I love all of the Evo's, BUT my favourite is Ronnie Bratschi in his EGMO-Machine - extremely fast and accurate.
Same for me. It is a monster but feels like it’s under control. Also I love its mechanical sound

The way you started this compilation is how you start a video-with a bang and that bang in this case is Jozef going full throttle in his Evo 3.After that crazy intro,the madness continues with carefully chosen specimen and there's not a single one for me to pick the favorite because all of them are.Just look at those beasts rippin' it up on tight mountain roads,spitting flames and sounding like angry fighter jets.That's how race cars should feel like and thank God we have hillclimbs for that so we can experience them.
"Thank God for Hillclimbing" would be a great slogan :P

Killer video! Loved the choice of cars, especially the supercharged, yellow VI. On the Evo forum, we've often talked about adding a supercharger to a 4G63 to boost the low-end, but to our knowledge it hadn't been done. Apparently that's incorrect.
And that´s not exactly a new car... It was built and raced for years in Switzerland, and has been twincharged since around 2008 ;)
