Y'all know this is just my opinion, right? - Hudba
The pose + no Yellow Flanel in the thumbnail is crazy for an 8/10 record
More jungle & dnb please Anthony
He's probably not a big fan considering he gave this obvious sell out project an 8. This is a pop album
@@utm0stwhat’s a better project then?
@@utm0st how is that selling out shit bangs
@@twingolordstart with chase & status rtrn 2 jungle then listen to some coco bryce and tim reaper for new school stuff, shy fx ragamuffin soundtape is great as well
@@twingolordCheck out the label Samurai Music for quintessential underground jungle drum and bass
I saw Nia as the opener for Dimension in San Francisco. Her style has always been this good, not to mention her stage presence was amazing. This is the breath of fresh air DNB needs. Can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
Jungle*
@@jtt99same shit
@@kiwo579 you must not listen to much dnb then
@@jtt99 does music exist outside of its genre or label?
@@kiwo579 We can't accept dnb, we need jungle I'm afraid.
8:17 So cool of Anthony to finally come out as a ventriloquist
wait actually what the hell is going on there??? does he dub his videos? video glitch? his lips aren't mouthing the same words he's saying
im so lost
JUNGLIST MASSSIIVVVVV
BUYAKA BUYAKA
I dig the track „cards on the table“
It's awesome, reminds me of summers gone in the 00s for some reason
@1:50 fanatical junglist since 1995, here; and that is what i initially thought myself. i had heard (and loved) "Forbidden Feelings," "Baiana," and her remixes for Jorja Smith and Fred Again before; but when i first heard tracks like "Crowded Rooms" and "Unfinished Business" i was like "eh, i respect the artistry and eclectic mix of influences, but it's a little too poppy for my tastes." But upon literally the second listen, i became hooked and obsessed, and have had this album on repeat for weeks. Maybe i'm just getting soft in my old age, but i can't get enough of her.
Glad to see her getting some much deserved praise, and if this album doesn't get (at the very least) nominated for a BRIT award, it will be a travesty.
Unfinished Business is so great. Took me a couple of listens, i usually like my dnb a bit “heavier”, but eventually it’s become one of if not my favourite from her
I love this cover tbh 😭
Listened to some of this album on the Massive DnB Spotify playlist, definitely sticks out with her sound.
Thank you for the electronic music review Anthony, always appreciate them ❤
this is my AOTY so far even though the best songs were already out
Love Nia and this album :)
I swear she made that Baiana remix or am I tripping?
@@martinbikikoro4959 yh she did
You review re-affirmed my opinion about the album, Anthony. Good job!
Wow, just listened to unfinished business and it's amazing. Excited to check out this album
Based shirt.
Also Nia is awesome, this album deserves the praise. Discovered her in 2022 and I'm sure there's only better to come.
Found out about Nia through Danny Browns Podcast, he gave her a shoutout last year and have been a fan ever since, that woman brought jungle back to the uk and now the whole world.. love to is having such a high score
Jungle never left the UK
Danny Brown has introduced me to some incredible artists like Underscores, Jane Remover, fentanyl, and The Streets. His taste is fantastic
@@superwhizz114 I was so shocked to hear him talk about the streets on his podcast. I mean it makes total sense that he'd be into that type of music but i never thought i'd hear a non-british person sing his praises like that. he actually references a song by the streets on 'party all the time' off XXX but i thought it was a coincidence until i researched the background of the song after he spoke about mike skinner and how a grand dont come for free is one of his favourite albums
if you havent been hearing Jungle in the uk you were going to some weak events
There is so much fire dnb and jungle coming out these days on labels like The North Quarter, Metalheadz, and Signature. Please explore the genre a little deeper now that you’ve dipped your toes ❤
can’t stop listening to this one - going to put in a set this weekend, hoping it catches on in the US the way it deserves
Would love to see more jungle covered on the channel! Keep track of record labels like Future Retro and N4
SMH Forbidden Feelingz is amazing!
Such a perfect track. Sometimes less is more and that’s how I feel about that track
By far the best track. Has so much character
Well deserved, wasn't familiar with her prior to this but easily one of my favorites of the year so far.
she popped up on my Spotify playlist randomly, and instantly became a fan. She pretty much introduced me to jungle and DnB
I haven’t been able to listen to anything else but this album in the past few days. Nia bringing in the summer with a certified classic.
Any thoughts on the Cindy Lee album?
Caught her here in LA few months ago. The most fun show in a while.
Hey Anthony, I was wondering if you’re going to be reviewing the Concrete Boys new project?
Dude you have introduced me to so many new artists and I've gotta say your flow is lit- you're a rapper in a very real sense. Someone out there should take your "bars" and superimpose it over a trap beat!
I've had this album on repeat. Super underappreciated
Thank you so much...I was hoping you would talk about her
Me too. After reviewed unfinished business in his track wrap up I went and found the album and have had it on repeat. NO SKIPS.
U R SO REAL FOR THIS
Need to see Nia live sometime
Saw her at boomtown last year she’s really good live!
Can second that saw her in Newcastle and Leeds and she’s such a good live artist
She mainly does uk :(
Got to see nia at escape back in October. Do yourself a favor and catch one of her sets live
Thanks for putting me on, this album is fantastic
Love this album so much, absolutely my favorite Drum n Bass / dance-pop fusion. I like it even more than PinkPantheress who was previously my favorite in this style.
was waiting for this!!
Drum & Bass let's go
I can't accept drum and bass, we need jungle i'm afraid
+2
Great new sound for me. Wish some of the tracks were ever so slightly longer, not like 7 mins long but a little longer.
Cal knows his Jungle, I’m going to have to go with his assessment there.
Will cue this one up, but you checked out the Cindy Lee album yet, Anthony? It's incredible, AOTY material for sure --
This is going to be my album on the summer
Never heard of them. Looking forward to finding out more
Hey Anthony, wondering if you will review Perceive It's Beauty, Acknowledge It's Grace by Shabaka
Saw her play a set last week here in London and she's absolutely the real deal. Incredibly talented DJ and great stage presence - it's hard to hype a crowd while singing about how difficult you find being in a crowd! How she pulls it off I have no idea.
Love this artist, I have been listening on repeat this year. jungle, dnb, REAL vocals, authenticity. Love her, will be following her future career with much interest!
+1 on the Brit awards nomination
Ok, Mr. Saitama
Cards on the Table is such a unique instrumental
Melon finally reviewing drum & bass music
drum n bass artists have quietly been entering the mainstream limelight during the 2020s. WE ARE SO LOCKED IN ‼️
I think the production is amazing but the lyrics get too repetitive for me she says the same thing like 5+ times in a row in most songs
Anthony as live action Saitama confirmed
Awesome review. Can you do the two Sleepnet EPs next?
I live nia. Glad to hear fantano review it. DnB has been "trending" slowly for about 5 years now. Check out 1991, Grafix and Andomedik. They're dropping a lot of nice tunes
Drumthony Basstano here, fastiest jungle nerd
Great review Melon !
I have met this girl, it’s crazy that Anthony is now reviewing her
Great album review.
Hi how's it going watching from Broomfield Colorado
Y U NO REVIEW Cindy Lee/Diamond Jubilee?
Nia has been on a roll with her ep’s and this debut didn’t disappoint
omgosh thought the review would be bad based on the thumbnail glad that wasn't the case!
Are you gonna review the English Teacher album "This Could Be Texas"?
I hope you review the English Teacher debut album soon but in the meantime thanks for letting me know what I should think of this album Anny Banany!🫶
hey mr. fantano could you please review samsa?
Really enjoyed listening to this album.
Review request. Michael Aldag - sorry for everything

Why don't you review Empress Of's new album?

Please review "Heraldica" from Saramalacara
One of my favorite thumbnails from Melon.

Where is your yellow flannel fantano
this was better than I anticipated, love it
you should do a review on young genius ngl 😭
Love her style
Found this album randomly and loved it, of course fantano has already heard it...
I first heard "So Tell Me..." in 2022 when I was going thru some shit and ngl the song almost brought me to tears. Very glad to see Nia quickly gaining popularity
No yellow flannel?
jungle drum beat is the UK version of reggaeton.

So Tell Me is an amazing closer
3:26 keep that energy for bladee
I read the score. I knew it would be cause every single single was a banger.
Please review the new Cindy Lee double album! It’s only available on his geocities site (and CZcams)
Best record since Public Strain!
He wrote on twitter that is making his way through it slowly
0:02 You just said the name of some German pop-EDM duo.
would love for u to go deep into uk bass genres

Great album. Bright future
