  • No crank. No start. In this first part of the Renault Megan restoration series, we tackle the daunting task of reviving a car that has been sitting idle for over three years due to an intermittent starting issue. Join us as we embark on a mission to bring this neglected vehicle back to life!
    The car's condition is challenging:
    Dead battery
    Corroded contacts
    Failed door and roof seals
    Damp and mould inside
    Moss-covered exterior
    Seized brakes
    Collapsed suspension
In this video, you'll see a systematic approach to addressing each problem to get the Renault Megan running again. We use a Dremel to clean electrical contacts, recharge the battery, and apply electrical contact cleaning spray to the coil pack and cam position sensor contacts. After some effort, we get the engine running smoothly!
Next, we face the task of freeing the seized brakes and getting the wheels turning. With the help of the powerful Range Rover, we pull the Renault from its resting place, setting the stage for further restoration work.
Experience every step from multiple angles as we bring you along on this journey to give the Renault Megan a new lease on life. Don't miss the detailed footage and join us in the satisfying process of automotive resurrection!

Good use of time lapse to show the full process rather than cutting in after stuff has happened. Really enjoyable without the music in between which makes the commentary stand out. Your video skills and choice of angles really works well, thank goodness you are not able to transfer the smell of all that mould though 😂 Nothing left apart from me to head over and watch part 2.
