Should be considered as important to global tennis history as the likes of the 'big three', Borg, Connors, Becker, Court, Graf, Navratilova, Williams et al. Entertainment is as vital to sport as achievement.
A man who recognised he would never be the greatest tennis player, so became the greatest tennis entertainer instead. And THAT is how you grow the sport, while carving your own niche. What a great man.
To see somebody who loves what they do and bring such pleasure to everybody watching is a true gift. Such a joy watching this man bring joy to so many.
We have the odd player that plays with the occasional bit of flair and fun, such as Bublik at Wimbledon this year, even Kyrgios gives it a go, and we have some different characters such as Medvedev, and Rublev who throws himself at balls. Jabeur who is another crowd favourite seems to enjoy herself on occasion Unfortunately idiots like McEnroe complain about the 'disrespect' shown by underarm serves and flamboyant shots. Tennis has to retain some character or it's going to become turgid and boring beyond saving. They're just machines now.
My godsons just started to get into tennis with me and call Bahrami “Grandpa Tennis”, which is one of the highest compliments they can give, and that title is 100% deserved.
Im sure this man was an inspiration to some of the tennis stars of today. He is a legend & his reaction time 4 his age is phenomenal. This is like watching the skill of a super experienced tennis player, but with the showmanship of a harlem globetrotter.
Un très bon joueur en sont temps, mais un sacré show man toujours. Merci d'avoir choisi quelques un de ces meilleurs moments et de nous les faire partager

Profession mixed with intrinsic Persian sense of humour makes a real legend named Mansour Bahrami
I love iranians
The world of sport needs more people like him
Everything needs more people like him
well said
;)
problem is when they do they mostly get forced to conform. Mansour wasn't given a chance to play professionally in his prime.
LOL...
If there’s anything good that’s come out of CZcams Shorts (beta) its this guy. Never heard of him until it came up in my recommendations
For sure. I feel exactly the same way
Same fir me
Same here
Yeah same.
How did I never hear of this guy before??? Genius!
Same here. He must be considered the einstein of tennis.
This was some time ago.
Me to brother 🤔🤔🤔
Retired in 2003
@@drsolo7 Son, I was born in 1979... and I like Tennis. I should have heard about this guy at some point before the 2000s.
So you’re telling me there’s like a globetrotters for tennis?
There's Absolutely no comparison to this man.
He needs to be inducted into Tennis Hall of Fame.Legends like this are born once in decades.
Should be considered as important to global tennis history as the likes of the 'big three', Borg, Connors, Becker, Court, Graf, Navratilova, Williams et al. Entertainment is as vital to sport as achievement.
Раз в столетие такие рождаются.
He delivers ice cream Turkish style while hes not playing tennis.
He is iranian
@@utebertram5345 I never said he was Turkish....

@@anildesai1801 Hes definitely got the look down pat.
Kahraman marash
A man who recognised he would never be the greatest tennis player, so became the greatest tennis entertainer instead. And THAT is how you grow the sport, while carving your own niche. What a great man.
The ‘dad’ of tennis xD
You have to read about islam and go and listen to ahmed deedat and zakir naik and yousef astes
Never a fan of tennis but this guy is truly a LEGEND ❤️
No doubt at all💯
Make sure you peep out Exceptional Talent Tv🎗New All sports Channel
We want Mansour and Gael Monfils on the same court
Him messing around with the umpire was probably the funniest thing I have seen in tennis
When you play for happiness and don't care about winning or loosing......that's Mansour ❤
Awesome video. I play tennis and I didn't know him. He makes me laugh the whole video.
Reminds me of an anime:
‘The rules didn’t state that two rackets weren’t allowed, that means you can do it’
Thats why it is called OLD IS GOLD😊💪
I could watch this for hours
that ‘Is that even illegal’ question in the back of my head after every clip...
These are mostly retired exhibition matches where he has fun, so it’s legal there 🤣😂
And it’s Bahrami he’s the dad 😂🤣 of tennis no one can hate him
He usually either plays exhibition matches or "Senior Invitation Doubles". They are no-stakes matches so things need to be taken with a pinch of salt.
A true sportsman who understands that showing your passion for the sport is the most infectious type of motivation and entertainment. Legendary.
The one guy as soon as he started cpr, dude was like "Nope, pretty sure youd go all the way with that bit, I'm out!" 🤣
He's literally every persian uncle at a family gathering
So I never watched tennis and idk how a youtube short of him came to me and now I am addicted
To see somebody who loves what they do and bring such pleasure to everybody watching is a true gift.
Such a joy watching this man bring joy to so many.
We really need more players like Bahrami! He's so enthusiastic and entertaining to watch, I always end up laughing and with a huge smile on my face!

But much more entertaining ☺

There will never be another tennis player like him. I can't see any of today's players willing to just play the fool like that. Love this guy!
We have the odd player that plays with the occasional bit of flair and fun, such as Bublik at Wimbledon this year, even Kyrgios gives it a go, and we have some different characters such as Medvedev, and Rublev who throws himself at balls. I do love this man!!
Every player: Plays to win
Him: Plays for fun
What a sight and talent to behold. I am a fan. What a lethal fusion of humor and skill. Unbelievable...

I genuinely think he could still be a competitive doubles player, even at the age of 63! 😁 so talented.
8:35 crazy power with no standard serving stance. Just arm strength

If you have seen him multiple times. It is always the same. It his personality that makes it work every time.
tbh if he played when he was younger and didn't just have fun he probably be one of the best tennis players alive.
