The thing is, it all comes down to economics. Such bespoke shirts are extremely expensive and not nearly as long lasting as a bespoke suit. Hence, we see very thriving bespoke suit companies while you hardly hear any bespoke shirt cutters.
Also, made to measure shirts are very common in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh for this very reason... they are cheap. Not exactly as cheap as mass produced ones but an average tailored shirt in subcontinent will cost under USD50 (including fabric). I am certain the gentlemen in the video charges several times above this and, thus, its not economically viable for majority people to spend this much just for a shirt.
I admit, the type of customization, materials used and the quality of stitching will obviously be no match but at the end of the day, its still a shirt.
Since I mentioned about bespoke suits, what most British bespoke cutters did is that they have categorised their service, such as Bespoke, Semi-Bespoke and Made-to-Measure and each category is offered at different price point. This is the main reason that allowed them to survive in today's mass produced manufacturing. If I want a suit that fits me perfectly but I cannot afford a fully bespoke service, I will opt for Made-to-Measure.

A bespoke shirt made by an artisan in Europe is a luxury product. By definition, a luxury product is expensive. But it is certainly not expensive for someone who can afford a mass produced, ready to wear shirt from a big brand that spends $ millions in marketing. In fact, it is a bargain because it is actually much cheaper. By the way, a well made bespoke shirt cut from a proper fabric can last for years if it is well taken care of (hand washed and no dryer). A handmade shirt made by an artisan in a small workshop in Europe made from cotton milled in Italy, Switzerland or the UK is not just a shirt. It is a work of art.

PLEASE add the link for the artisan in question. Also the music is unnecessary and distracting. It is not adding anything to the video's intention which is to bring new clients to these artisinal businesses.

@@Artisness This is excellent value for a bespoke process that includes basted garment and trial fittings. The truth is that online manufactured made-to-measure is about 180€ - underscoring how difficult it is for these small artisans to survive, notwithstanding that their process has a fair amount of machine work. TBH most of the men that order bespoke, go through body changes which reduce the effect shelf-life of the garment. It's a tough business for so many reasons.
