Love this recipe. The only comment I have is I prefer to cook inside my kitchen (stovetop and oven) because it will make your home smell amazing. On the grill, you’ll miss that.

Could I substitute the sausage for smoked Turkey sausage? Do you think it would affect the flavor profile at all?

There's no specific recipe for jambalaya. The rice and seasoning is base but chicken and andouille sausage is just the most popular combination. It originated from cooking whatever meat was about to spoil so basically if you like it use it. My favorite is duck and deer sausage jambalaya
